@Zuljaras I guess you could consider me a filthy casual Pokefan. I like the games. I beat the final battles, become champion, maybe mess around a little and then move on. #dexit means nothing to me, and flashing images of Sword/Shield don't send me into a killing spree to quell the Hulk rage.
@NintendoByNature As long as it adds to the comedy and diversity of the thread, keep doing you, my man.
@NEStalgia Almost nail on the head, my friend. Almost... It's actually everything that you said plus my own view on life which simply dictates that it's useless to focus on the things that you can't do, can't get, don't like, don't want etcetera.
It's a focus from a negative perspective, and it brings nothing, except more negativity. I like to think in possibilities and in solutions. But aside from that, my current annoyance comes from him apparently not understanding what I'm trying to tell him which, regardless of my obvious annoyance, comes from a genuine desire to help and/or make something clear to someone.
But if even simplifying my words doesn't help, then you at some point start to either question yourself, or get annoyed by the other party, which is what happened, unfortunately. I've cooled down now, because I stayed away on purpose for the remainder of yesterday, but suffice to say that it was a REALLY good thing that this was an online discussion, and not a face to face one, because heads would have ended up being torn off...
As for Pokémon Sword/Shield: true enough, but these articles about criminal justice and/or involving people of color come pretty damn close, sadly enough. Everybody is an expert and wants to put their two cents/brain farts in, these days. Well, at least, until their mothers call them out from their basements, because dinner's ready...
@Zuljaras That Turok set looks cool. Personally, I'm not much of a Limited Run buyer, or limited edition fan. I do have a few, such as the limited editions of Xenoblade Chronicles and The Legend of Zelda: Skyword Sword, but honestly mostly because both of them came with special limited edition controllers, so not for any other addition to the package, such as art books or CD's. Although Zelda did also come with a concert CD. Never played that, though...
P.S.
Concerning the size comparison: hands come in all shapes and sizes, so I don't know if you have relatively small or freakishly big hands, making the size comparison still a bit of a guessing game, so that's why I mentioned using a coin, or something else of a defined, international size, so we can relate.
The easiest thing would be a ruler, so we can see how many centimeters it is. Or a match box, tea cup/mug, a soda can, etc. All of these things are roughly the same size around the world, so these are good comparison materials.
@Tyranexx Yeah, I'll only ever jokingly insult ladies. My old man may be old, but he'll still whack me across the head if I don't treat a woman like I'm supposed to...
@Anti-Matter Avoiding things isn't going to make them go away. You started the argument, and so you can't just walk out, after having annoyed the hell out of people. Not just me, by the way.
I was asking you a genuine question about why you apparently aren't able to understand this simple thing that I'm trying to explain to you, and which @NEStalgia also tried to make clear.
But let's not repeat all we've discussed before and just settle for you trying to not continuously comment negatively on things that we like. I would VERY much appreciate that, because it is not only useless, it's also annoying, and you've been doing it quite often. Show some learning/understanding capabilities, and please try to pick up on that. It will make this thread all the better for it.
@Zuljaras Hey, man. I understand. It's important to please your better half. You'll be reaping the rewards for that for some time to come, so there's definitely no reason not to do it...
'The console wars are like boobs: Sony and Microsoft fight over which ones look the nicest and Nintendo's are the most fun to play with.'
@NEStalgia I missed that. I'll have to go back and read it lol. I'll likely just do a Find In Page on your username. It'll expedite shifting through all the posts.
@Zuljaras That's really cool! Sandshrew is one of the better designs out of Gen 1 in my opinion. You should do the Alolan variant sometime.
I'm a Pokemon casual these days too. I don't have time to complete the Pokedex in each game or farm for shinies or breed perfect IV Pokemon. There are other games I wanna play lol. I've only ever fully completed the Dex in Diamond, and that was back in the day when I had way more time and less games.
@ThanosReXXX Haha, I can definitely take jokes. ^_^
Currently playing: Pokemon Scarlet DLC, Super Mario 3D World + Bowser's Fury (Switch)
@ThanosReXXX
My English is not really good so sometimes i still struggle to digest some English words or my writing skill that still inconsistent in grammar.
If i admit, i don't live like common adult people. My body is 35 but still thinking like teenager.
Sometimes i still didn't understand some things because i didn't think it was wrong.
For example when i compared Arcade games experience from Dreamcast with my Arcade games experience from PS2, I just want to say those were the games i have interest about if talking about Arcade games experience. Then you said Dreamcast was the true experience for Arcade games experience according to world global, not by my preferences. At that point i felt like i didn't allowed to tell what was my preferences and what was not. Then i said Dreamcast was not really worthy for me because i only interested by 2 or 3 games. And when i said that i have no interest to consider Dreamcast, you thought i was talking negative again like i have ever did before on PS4 section. I didn't even mean to start argument by negative talking. Am i not allowed to say "Oh, sorry. I don't have interest by this X machine or that Y machine." if i really don't have interest about ?
And when you said that i have to understand if Dreamcast was the True experience for old Arcade games by worldwide, what am i supposed to do right ? Do i have to agree and not saying any comments even i still didn't think Dreamcast was the right machine for me ?
I still don't understand how to express my dislikeness without insulting someone even i just only said "This thing or that thing is not worthy for me." ?
@Anti-Matter Well, my friend, the whole point is that you don't HAVE to express yourself about that at all, so you should simply NOT comment if you don't like something, because it adds nothing to the conversation, and because of that, it is a completely useless comment, and as I previously mentioned, it only creates more negativity and people get annoyed if you always respond in the same way to the same things. We know already how you feel about certain things and certain games, and that in itself is perfectly fine, because that's your personal choice and opinion, but you should also respect other people's opinions, and stepping into conversations of others and making some kind of negative comment, just because you don't like something just isn't the right thing to do.
I do see you're trying to understand, otherwise you wouldn't dedicate so much text to it and make the effort to explain yourself, so I do appreciate that, but sometimes I do indeed wish that either your English was better, or that I could speak your language, because it would make things SO much easier.
You see, it's REALLY simple about the Dreamcast discussion: what I said about it is not my personal opinion, it's a known fact, and practically the entire world sees it as the ultimate arcade machine. You cannot argue with facts, so you can't say that the Dreamcast is NOT the ultimate arcade machine.
(and I also wasn't trying to sell the console to you or make you enthusiastic about it, by the way)
I'm not asking you to agree with that, but that doesn't mean that it isn't true, it's just that the games on the Dreamcast don't interest you, so it NOT being the ultimate arcade machine, is only true for YOU.
I hope you understand this, because there's a BIG difference to something being actually and universally true, and something only being true for yourself.
It's a bit like what @NEStalgia and others said before: we also don't post negative comments ALL the time, like when you post pictures or videos of DDR games or dance songs. I personally sometimes make a bit of fun of you, but that's all. We don't comment negatively ALL the time, because why would we comment on something that we don't like? It's useless, and it might annoy or even hurt the person posting this.
So, it's not that you're not allowed to say something negative, it's just that it's better manners and more polite AND more useful to simply not comment at all. Next time, when someone posts something positive about a game or system that you personally don't like, just think to yourself: "well, I don't agree at all" or "I don't like that at all" but only to yourself, and don't actually make a comment about it. Just allow people that do enjoy it, to have a discussion about it, without having to feel the need to jump in and say something negative.
This is a community after all, so we need to think about the other people in it, and not think from a me, me, me perspective all the time. Just think to yourself: "well, this part of the conversation does not interest me at all, so I'm not going to comment and I will wait until something comes along that does interest me, so I can join in again".
I hope that all makes sense to you, because I've now REALLY made it as clear and simple as I can, so I wouldn't know in what other way I could explain it to you.
@Anti-Matter Phew... the answer I was hoping for...
Now, go ahead and post some DDR videos, and you'll see me NOT making any negative comments about them.

We just had our holiday dinner. I ate over age for sure. Had a 22oz steak and I can barely move. Oh, plus some appetizers, bread, salad and a loaded baked potato. Im overdone to say the least. Had some beers too which only adds insult to injury. Needless to say, I may not even have a bite to eat tomorow 😣
@NintendoByNature That’s sounds really nice. You can go into winter hibernation now.
I’m thinking of beers and slow cooked ribs, potato salad, corn, and mac and cheese this year for Christmas Eve. My family would always eat turkey, but I’m not feeling it this time.
