@Anti-Matter Wow, for a smart person, you REALLY do act dumb sometimes.
It doesn't matter if YOU don't like something, or if you don't like reality. That doesn't mean that the reality isn't still there, when you go outside, look at the news, or whatever. And in this case, the reality is that the Dreamcast is famous for being the ultimate arcade machine. It's OFFICIALLY known as such, by all gaming media, and all people that know and love the console.
That's a fact, and no single opinion of someone like you can change that. It doesn't mean that YOU have to agree with it, and it's perfectly fine if you don't agree, but it DOESN'T change the fact that it IS the ultimate arcade games machine either. It just is. It's the reputation that the console has built, over its short life time, and it's a well-deserved one too.
But let's try something else, which (I sincerely hope) might make you understand: I know you like kickboxing, but let's for one moment pretend that you didn't like it. Would you then also deny that sport, or say that the world champion isn't the real world champion, simply because of your own, singular opinion?
That would be really weird, wouldn't it? Especially seeing as the world, and the association that the sport falls under, have decided that the champion has rightfully won that title, and as such, he has earned it, and nothing anyone else says or feels about it, can change that fact.
Just like @Zuljaras said, you don't HAVE to like everything, or agree with everything, but by doing the exact opposite and verbally/visibly disliking everything, you're doing something equally bad, or actually even worse.
I don't know why you can't understand that concept. It really is very simple.
If you don't like something, DON'T COMMENT ON IT. You create unnecessary negativity in this thread, and you annoy people. That's bad, so you shouldn't do it.
If you don't like a certain type of food, I would assume that you also wouldn't eat it, but I would also hope that you wouldn't continuously waste everybody else's time by telling people how disgusting that food that you don't like tastes. That's just an infinitely stupid thing to do, and with games or consoles, it's exactly the same, much like with anything else, such as movies, music, other hobbies and so on.
Like what you like, and most of all: definitely ENJOY what you like, but just stop focusing on and whining about everything that you DON'T like. It's useless, because it serves no purpose whatsoever.
@NintendoByNature Ah, yes... the Wargroove voice actor article. I all but forgot about that one, thanks to the Pokémon Sword/Shield one being so much more worse, but thanks for reminding me, 'cause that was a rather bad one as well.

@Anti-Matter I think what's aggravating Thanos is that every time he's talking about something that he and others like you chime in to tell them how much you hate that thing. Imagine if every time you talked about rhythm games the same person always jumped into your conversation to tell you how much they hate rhythm games and how much they prefer puzzle games instead? He's not telling you you have to like what he likes. He's telling you to stop jumping into his conversations to keep telling him you hate what he likes. He knows you do...we all know
I can only imagine how the Sw/Sh articles went while I was gone. I unfortunately did read through some of the comment section of the Wargroove article. I'd love to throw in my own two cents on such subjects in a round-table, courteous manner, but that's getting harder to pull off online these days.
@NintendoByNature Hah, after I finished out my work day at home on Monday, i wrapped presents! Glad to have most of that out of the way. Just have to do a little baking to spoil my coworkers and mail delivery person now.

@Tyranexx yum... very nice of you. I've yet to be gifted any kind of holiday treats this season. I'm a very good cook ( if you dont mind me tooting my own horn), but I'm an average to below average baker. My grandma on the other hand was phenomenal and that was her specialty. She passed a few years back but I REALLY miss her home made Apple strudel and butter cookies which she would always make around now. What are you mustering up for the co-workers?
@NintendoByNature Thanks! I'll probably make some monster brownies; they're thick brownies with some cookie batter and chocolate chips mixed in. I also have some leftover peanut butter chips, so I'll likely add those in, too. It's something I've been experimenting with a little. So far the feedback has been great!
I'm an average baker (depending on what it is) and a somewhat average cook. I try to get a little fancy with things sometimes, but the really cool stuff takes forever to do. I don't dislike making food, but it doesn't thrill me either lol.
Both of my grandmothers are excellent cooks and bakers. One doesn't do much of it these days since she gets worn out easily (she's approaching 92), but her chocolate chip cookies are excellent. I think there's a Cookbook for Awesome Grandmas somewhere.
