I've only caught Leavanny so far. Funny considering that it's supposed to be one of the rarer Pokémon in the safari.

I've also encountered Winking Cottonee but I couldn't beat the stage.

I think it's pretty ridiculous that a DAY ONE player can't defeat a Safari Pokémon. But then, I generally use non-maxed Pokémon in the Safari stages (so I can level them up, even if the exp yield is miniscule), so I may need to reconsider that rule if I'm to catch all of these Pokémon. New players would never be able to defeat these.

And yaay for two new Mega competitions in a row! It's about bloody time we got a Poison mega (a Flying mega is also long overdue). Boo to new main stages as I still have about 11 main stages that I'm yet to complete/S-rank. I'm putting Darkrai EB on hold until I can catch all of the Safari Pokémon (I'm currently on Stage 125).

More winking Pokémon. And what an odd choice.

I've been doing some S ranking lately and I'm 4 away from getting S rank and capture in the first 350 stages. I'll shift my focus to safari and new main stages for now. I'm glad that the latest patch of main stages is a smaller one although now that I look at it, it already shows I've caught 10/20 before I've even started playing them. Not a fan of double stages for some Pokémon.

@sillygostly Want some advice? Finish the Darkrai EB first. None of these Safari's Pokes are really needed (as far as I can tell), and the EB competition is over next week.You are going to need a lot of coins to finish the EB (at least +5 Moves in the last 20 stages or so), but the final reward is so..., rewarding (2 MSUs). Just my 2 cents.

I think that the main Pokes should be M-Gengar, Reshiram and Talonflame. After you caught the two monkeys, you can switch Talonflame to Delphox or Combusken. I'm missing Swadloon (really bad catchability and luck), and Whimsicott(winking). Have to agree with you regarding the difficulty of some of these Pokes, specially winking Cottonee (I think that there is a pattern to tackle).

Also, the competition is next week. Cheers!!

That's true for the most part, but I want to complete my collection and I've only recently caught up once GS repeated the Jirachi special stage. I don't know how rare the winking Pokémon are, but I don't want to risk not encountering them. They're a greater priority to me than Darkrai's coin-hungry MSU goose chase.

@sillygostly: They are not that rare. I finished the Safari 3 hours ago. My advice stands: bring Reshiram and Delphox after you capture the two monkeys. Whimsicott starts the board with 4 of itself very far apart. I didn't experience any other disruptions because I finished it in 2-3 moves.

The thing is, I've been following you. I mean, your progress when it comes to EB and you always get to the end with practically no money or no hearts on the last day. Two MSUs are not to be missed!!

I've seen every safari Pokémon but Leavanny so far. I've only been able to catch Ampibom and the two winking Pokémon. Used a Great Ball for the latter two since I suppose they're rare (though I've already seen Cottonee twice). I haven't had any trouble with the stages, I've been able to win every time with at least one extra move left. Seems to be quite easy safari apart from low catch rates.

@Late It is a coin stage. Did 1,300 coins once. Make matches of 4 coins coupled with a 2-3 matches with your Pokes to shave some significant health off.

@Rikaria D@mn!!

BTW, finished all new main levels, while getting some S-ranks (6) and unlocking Electrode. After caughting it, if I'm so inclined, grind the bejessus of Meowth.

I guess the winking Pokémon aren't so rare after all. I've already seen both 3 times. Still looking for Leavanny.

@maceng Thanks for the info.

So anyone else got stuck on the Klingklang stage?

Was Mariobro4. No, I'm not taking off my backpack...it's important.

Finished the safari earlier today.

I still haven't been able to finish the earlier batch of new main stages so the newest one will take some time for me to tackle. Right now I don't really have a lot of coins either.

I haven't really been feeling this game for some time now, mostly because I was overseas and didn't have much time to play and when I got back the new Ace Attorney game came out... Oh well.

@Captain_Toad It is a puzzle stage. You can not make a combo, just single moves. If you do, you will be out of moves before the metal blocks remove themselves (after 5 successful moves).

Head to

for the complete solution.

Just finished the EB. Since stage 150 uses the same team and full ítems runs. Uxie (SL4) Is the key. Víctini, MMewtwo and Cresselia round up the team. Finished with 13, 11, 7 and 3 moves left, on stages 150, 200, 250 and 300, respectively. So levels 150 and 200 might be doable without MS and/or +5 Moves.

I was struggling really bad in the competition. My first run landed me in the top tier, but at position 252 (65k) I knew my record was doomed. On Sunday I was even bumped out of the second tier (1800 or better), so I decided, after leveling up Slowbro (now at 14) and giving some cookies to Cresselia (now at SL3), to give it a go. Did a couple of really bad runs (each less than 60k), and then I switched Mew (lvl11, SL3, Block Smash+) for Landorus-t (SL5) and landed again in the top tier with 89k, but it is a matter of time before I'm relegated again to the second tier, this time for good.

I'm trying to get Slowbro to max (lvl15) to try for the last time. So, what are your experiences' dear shufflers?

I think my first try landed me in the second tier. I haven't been interested enough to check where I'm right now. I'm going to give it one more try before I go to bed tonight though in case I'm close to missing out on the mega stone.

Originally I ranked in second tier, but I just checked and I got booted into third tier. I had used a team of M-Mewtwo, Cresselia, Slowbro, and Deoxys. Not all are maxed but all are at least Lv 8, and I think M-Mewtwo is fully candied or one away from being so.

I noticed a lot of higher ranked people using Victini so I switched my Deoxys out for that, and I did slightly better than a previous attempt without it, but it still wasn't enough to replace my highest score (which must have been luck based since I haven't been able to come close to beating it ever since). So oh well, I'll just stick with where I'm at. Don't feel like levelling up anymore, and my rank of about 2,000 shouldn't drop past 8,000 (I hope) so I'll probably be ok.

Either way, I am looking forward to getting Beedrillite, extra rewards or not.

@maceng Sounds like your first attempt is roughly what my highest score is. Problem is I haven't had the time to commit to maxing out my Pokemon, especially Slowbro (why I opted for M-Mewtwo instead). I'm sure maxed Mew with BS+ would have been helpful too but I've never used it so I just didn't have the patience to get it to a higher bp.

Well, at least the prizes for the second tier are much better than what we used to get. Still, after using 3 MSUs on Alakazam, and 2 on M-Slowbro (don't ask why), I'm gonna be one MSU short from fully-candying M-Tyranitar (now at 12/14), unless I'm placed at the 1st tier.
