Topic: Nintendo Badge Arcade

Bah! I just wasted my 2 precious free plays trying to get the rest of the Tri Force Heroes badges - the one where you have to drop a bomb, and pray that it actually does something.

It's bad enough having to pay for a game of skill, but this particular one seems to be a game of chance. Who knows how much I'd have to pump in before it deems me worthy to get those other badges.

And this was after a practice badge bonanza ( the one with about 18 rupees & hearts) that got me the two free plays (although I notice you never seem to get bonus badge free plays from such hauls...)

I've got no desire to spend any more money on this when you consider how random it can actually be. Why can't they let us buy the badges. They let us buy home themes.

i love this game. Crane games were my thing growing up. I have over 200 badges from it. And have not spent over $10 on it either.

I still play this game daily, too. I'm around 175 badges I think, and have only spent $2! I looked at a list of all the badges a while ago, and from that list, I have most of the badges I want! That won't stop me from collecting more, but the less tempting some badges are, the better! My main problem is having room to fit all the badges on my home screen! I could keep scrolling over to decorate my home screen with different game badges, but it would be hard to constantly see them all. I know you can save multiple layouts of your home screen, but I wish you could save multiple layouts with the badges and have them shuffle, like how you can shuffle themes. That would get rid of the "too many badges - not enough space to see them all at once" problem. I could have a Splatoon badge layout, a Mario Kart one, an Animal Crossing one, and so on. I think that would be awesome!

I aim to get all 121 Tomodachi Life badges and only...44 got released so far. I'm still waiting...

I never use my money and only play every so often That's why I only have 20 badges while my friend, from only free plays, has... 120. Ouch.

Yay I was just talking about Tomodachi Life badges yesterday, and today a new catcher comes out with them. The practice badge was so easy that I managed to get 2 free plays because I cleared the machine several times. I had to think about how go about getting the most food badges with my free plays. I decided to go for the one on the furthest left first so that when I get more free plays the next day (although there are days when I get nothing), it'd be easier to get the others. Well I grabbed it and as it was moving back to the hole, it hit the delicious piece of bread and sent ALL the badges, save the hot dog, into the hole!! So with my last free play, I got the hot dog and cleared the machine. YAY!!!

Anybody else have their data corrupted on this game by the recent update. Both my son's and daughter's have been corrupted. That's a warning to not dl the recent update. I haven't done anything to my daughter's save data just yet but I did delete my son's and his now works fine except he had to start all over. Good thing was he had barely used it.

I've heard from a few different people that the new update wiped out all their badges. One dude had 500+ badges, so he claimed.

So yeah, don't update until they fix that.

I just updated and nothing happened. Didn't get any badges with my free play today.

I just updated here in North America, my badges seem intact.

Worth checking out today, got 45 badges in the practice catcher.

Arrrghhhh!!! I got 30 practice badges worth 3 tries, and I wasted them all trying to get Marie!!

Is anyone else besides me still playing this game daily? I'm still having a lot of fun with it! I'm a lot more clam about badges leaving the arcade now. I know they'll eventually come back, so I'm done spending money on this game... unless more Splatoon badges come out... I already have enough badges to fill my home screen anyways, but it's still just fun to collect as many badges as you can.

I finally got all three pearls of the goddesses from wind waker. They look really nice around the triforce.

Yeah I'm still doing it daily and I've yet to spend anything on it. I've got 200+ badges so far but the Koopling karts are really annoying me as I'm just missing Roy. I think I need 2 turns on the grabber to get him and I never seem to coincide when I win mutliple free goes and have the specific machine come up, however I'm not tempted to buy a few tries though.

I play it everyday. My goal to get all 121 food badges has yet to be completed. I'm happy a set came out today!

I definitely played to get the new food badges, but I don't play regularly anymore. When actually new stuff gets released, I'll pick it up again. I like the idea, but I can only handle so much Zelda, classic Mario, and Splatoon.
