Took a small break from MH for the past few days, but I did make the High Rank Yian Garuga armor last night. Earplugs and Mind's Eye are definitely one of my favourite skills for the Long Sword, just wish upgrades and forging weren't so expensive this time around lol.

@Iggly Check out the Sakura method for quick zenny/charm farming. Gaijun Hunter has a video on Youtube of how to do it.

Well since it seems impossible for me to find friends for these quests, I'm attempting to deal with these Deviant level III quests myself. This is going to take forever.

Hey all! So is this game any different from MH4? Apart from new armor and creatures, how is the story and game mechanics?

I really like this series, so I've been thinking about getting this.

It's different from 4U, it also doesn't focus on story this time...and some things are just "bleh" compared to 4U. Also no subspecies or G-Rank...but still has more monsters than before somehow.

Game Mechanics pretty much got a total makeover with Hunter Styles, not to mention Prowler Mode. The game does have a demo, so....yeah.

@retropunky get the demo and see for yourself. If you like hunting with other players I'd pick this up now since it's a lot more active than 4U. I like this one more due to the Hunter Arts and Guild Styles. I'm also a big fan of the Deviant Monsters and building their armor/weapons.

I completely forgot about the demo >.<

It's been a stressful couple of months, and just started catching up with a few games. This was at the top of my list.

Rajang snuck up on the lot of them and triple-killed them with his thunder beam.

(I mostly encounter Deviljho, but I imagine Rajang is the one to show up in Freedom Unite areas).

I haven't encountered Rajang at all in the old areas, just Jho. (and sometimes other monsters that no one cares about, lol)

Does anybody know how much damage a LBB+ does? I'm trying to determine the viability of creating a sleep-bombing set.
