Topic: Monster Hunter Generations (Our Toothy Lord and Savior)

...You mean with the Deviant quests? Was hoping to do the third one where you have to hunt 2 of them...because I think the 4th one is where they get stronger and get more new moves or something. (I think...)

Hm, I was think more of the... Hunter rank 2 missions. You know, the ones with two stars.

I do have two deviants available though. Haven't checked them yet.

Huh, so I started this unassuming deliver-8-mushrooms 3* offline mission and as soon as it loaded...

Insta dinosaur.

It spawned me right in the same room as the dinosaur instead of the camp.

... Is that normal? Or is this mission secretly high rank?

Oh well. At least it was like... 30 seconds long, I got all the mushrooms I needed in one map and used a farcaster.

Edit: the game explained it. It was a "oops we delivered you in the wrong spot". Hah.

Thanks again @FattyWhale_42 and @Tsurii for yesterday! These amazing heroes helped me rank up from HR6 to HR65

So much fun, we kicked every monster's ass we came across. Never had any issues or trouble. Gravios, Tigrex, Brachydios, Narkarkos... no problem at all. Expect for a Rathian. She took one of us out with a fireball haha.

Anyways, thanks again. It was a lot of fun!

@Cosima When we play, whosever turn it is, can pick whichever quest they want--whether that be Shagaru, a level X Deviant, slay 50 Bugs, deliver 20 mushrooms, etc. So you never have to ask if I'm "up for it."

Seeing as how this is an anniversary game and all, it behooves me to find the raison d'être behind each of these final multi-monster hunts. For this one, all of the monsters (except Rathalos, but only because they couldn't use Azure) debuted in handheld entries.

Well, if you think about it, with this game, 3DS owners have access to all the villages in Monster Hunter portable.

It's a celebration of monster hunter portable/freedom.

(then again, the only game in the series that never came out on a portable was the original second game)
