The community is not very active. Any time I join the community it's usually a very long wait before one person joins the game.

I have yet to play a game using the Worldwide option because it never lets me in the game. Anyone else from North America finding it impossible to join Worldwide games?

@SLiM: Worldwide was giving us problems last night, but once we all were in we were okay.

also, yeah, most of us who've been playing for a while switched to Worldwide a long time ago — not only is it much easier to find a group of people to race, we can also earn VR (which you can't in a community). What we all usually do is pile in and join a friend via the Friends/Opponents list who's already playing Worldwide so that we all end up in a room together (you may have to sit out and spectate a few times, but the randoms usually drop out eventually). Even if you've only raced someone via community before and don't have their FC added to your system, you can find them under 'Opponents' later, so that may help you find some elusive NLers to race if they've gone WW on you :3

Just schooled a buncha' peeps online, they lost against me so hard it ain't funny.
But the funny part during one race is when I launched two red shells at a guy in front of me on the 2nd lap, one hit him and the other one passed him and I passed him and got 1st, then on the final lap he passed me but just as he was about to cross the finish line and get 1st the SAME red shell I launched came ALL the way back around and hit him...then I passed him and got first. ahahahaha! epic!

@theblackdragon is that why it emptied out? Also we never had that race, anytime good for you? But please no Maka Wuhu, I despise that glitch.

Communities are great for getting large groups of friends together to race, I don't see the need to up my versus rating. It won't matter for ever

I just played online in Maka Wuhu, and no one used the glitch.

Some faith in humanity has been restored.

Playing Mario Kart at the moment and noticed that a few people seem to not get affected by reds hitting them and then speeding off but they dont have a mushroom and i had a gold mushroom and i could not get past the guy in front of me. And also what looks like 0people snaking where they go from one side of the track to the other and people falling off the track but then suddenly appearing back on the track and then speeding off. Anyone else notice this sort of stuff

@PinkSpider: Those are all hallmarks of lag or people with poor connections. It happens.

Reset your router and turn your 3ds off then back on again! That should fix most of those problems.

Well that was funny. Bird powa Bacon powa and me 4 times in a row first second and third. Who's bird powa anyways?

There's either quite a few rage quitters in the NintendoLife all items community, or people's internet breaks at very coincidental times.

Yeah, for such large site and forum, the community seems to be empty almost all the time.

Boycott Blue shell its worst screw up item ever!!!!!

@aqueous: at 10,000 VR a new kart customization is unlocked. that's the only reason i'm bothering, anyway :3

@wobee: the servers have been wonky for the past few days, really — lots of communication errors, and i never used to hardly get any of those. i'd be more inclined to chalk it up to the servers acting weird than rage-quitting at the moment

@Terave: again, that's probably because most of us have switched to Worldwide :3

A star can save you from the blue shell?

if you have a star, chances are you're not about to get targeted by the blue shell, lol.

Finally got my Three Stars today, and I've got several different vehicle strategies ready. Now all that's left is to get 10,000 coins and 10,000 VR to unlock the last stuff I need.

@Dragoon, i think that mostly everyone here is trying to get the 10,000 coins and 10,000 VR ..lol it takes forever

I'd hate the blue shell, there was a moment when I've been targered with the blue shell but fall out of the track, several seconds after been returning to the race that noise star again, the shell was waiting for me :/
