I wonder if toys r us or target might be cheaper. Maybe even Walmart. Sometimes those stores are afraid to over price the games because they might not sell as well.

Target usually puts out awesome deals. They did that with OoT3D when it came out that first day where you buy OOT3D, get a second 3DS game half off (I got Cubic Ninja with it).

Also, if you pre-order from Target, you get a $5 gift card. If you pre-order loads of games, the cards really pile up

I ordered the bundle from Zavvi a month ago, Unfortunately it didn't turn up today.Bit gutted as I have some free time tonight and was looking forward to playing it. Not to worry though , as long as it turns up tomorrow I'll be pleased with Zavvi's service ,it does state 2-3 working days from dispatch so, if like me you got an e-mail on Wednesday, then they are still within the estimate.
I'll be miffed if I have to wait till next week though!

Got my copy today... what a great game! It's even better with headphones and max volume. I got the bundled version and I think the circle pad pro is great. The controls work great with the circle pad pro. I can't wait to try out the raid mode.
I also really like the new chapter structure which contains a lot more variety in story, gameplay and the environment. Graphically the game is also very stunning--especially the lightning and shading effects. A thing I noticed is that the structure and scenario of the demo is not included in the full version. The place is there, but you are in a different scenario. Pretty cool.

Enjoying the game so far. Graphics are a real showcase for what the 3DS is capable of. The sound is immersive, first handheld game I've played in ages that makes me want to play with the sound right up. And I know I've said it before but I'm liking the CCP, it's comfortable to hold, it offers in my opinion a improved control config, I read a hands on preview where they said the circle pad felt different during use than the one on the console but thats certainly not the case on mine. I'll admit to being negative about it before hand but I'm convinced that as long as other compatible games play as well with it then its a worth while addition well worth the additional bulk. In fact I think I'm going to stop blabbing and go play some more Resi.

Its probably our poor economy and competitive pricing. No ones ready to fork over 50$ for a hand held game. Ill probably switch mine as well.

Maybe the price drop is Capcom's way of compensating us for that spelling error.

Still got over a week before I can get my hands on this copy ... looking forward to it though!

@WaveBoy seriously? I'm happy that the Amazon price got reduced, too bad for Snake Eater 3D now because I pre ordered this and Kid Icarus (free game bonus=awesome)

Now knowing this is going to be 40$, I'll wait a month or so till some place offers a great deal for it. (Got RE:M for 20 new at Bestbuy about a month after it's release)

I have no doubt that the Circle Pro will be reduced to a discount price very soon. Unless you're really desperate for it, I wouldn't buy at launch either as a bundle or stand alone purchase. I can only think of three games that would benefit (so far) from it: Resident Evil Revelations, Monster Hunter and MGS.

At EB Games in Australia it's $12 more with the Circle Pad Pro.

Well... just got home depressed from watching my football team (Man Utd) get beat and then lo and behold look what the postie brought me. Why, its my Resi bundle from Zavvi. Sweet , all is well again!
First thoughts are, I like the CPP much more than I thought I would, very comfortable and fits my hands well.Shoulder buttons are nice too.
Only had a brief go on Resi, but it seems as awesome as I thought. Can't wait to get stuck into RAID mode.

I have discovered something weird... in raid mode when using the "Store" I get a different inventory selection every time I load it up. I'm not sure if this is how it is supposed to work... but if this is how it works then I find it quite weird.

Has anyone else experienced this behavior?

I'm not sure but I think it has something to do with the street pass feature!
