Warner Bros. and TT Games have announced the next wave of expansion packs for the seemingly immortal Lego Dimensions.
We've already seen the likes of Ghostbusters, Harry Potter, Sonic the Hedgehog and Knight Rider come to the game, and this latest range of packs covers properties such as Teen Titans Go, Powerpuff Girls and the classic '80s Tim Burton flick, Beetlejuice.
Here's some PR:
Team and Fun Packs based on Cartoon Network’s animated series, Teen Titans Go™! and The Powerpuff Girls™, plus a Beetlejuice™ Fun Pack, broaden the selection of the world’s most popular entertainment brands available for the game, allowing players to customise their experience by mixing and matching favourite characters and universes with full compatibility.
Players that purchase either Teen Titans Go™! expansion pack can access an exclusive, original animated episode to discover how the vibrant team of teenage Super Heroes stumbled upon the LEGO® Dimensions™ multiverse and embarked on hilarious, heroic adventures with new friends. Offering players even more fun and value, the Teen Titans Go™! packs will also transform Cyborg, from the DC Comics Fun Pack, and Robin, from The LEGO® Batman Movie Story Pack, into their Teen Titans Go™! variants in the Teen Titans Go™! Adventure World.
The Teen Titans Go™! Team Pack, includes LEGO® minifigures of the DC Super Hero team Raven and Beast Boy. Darkness and light in one, Raven can fight off villains using fire magic and electric bolts along with moving objects with her telekinetic powers. She can transform into her miniature Soul Self to access remote areas and cast Raven’s Portal to teleport to unreachable locations. Players can jump into action with Beast Boy as he transforms into either a bird to fly the skies, a shark to dive underwater or a mouse to get through tight spaces. The pack also features the 3-in-1 T-Car which can be rebuilt into the Forklift and T-Plane for out of this world adventures by air and sea. Players can transform the Spellbook of Azarath into Raven Wings and the Giant Hand to take flight and dig through the earth for adventures above and beyond this universe.
The Teen Titans Go™! Fun Pack includes a Starfire LEGO® minifigure. Players can unleash her powerful green energy blast to kiss the bad guys good-bye in her crime-fighting adventures. With the abilities to interact with LEGO® Rainbow bricks and regain health quickly in battle, no one can put Starfire down. Players can also build the 3-in-1 Titan Robot for a roller-coaster fun-filled adventure and then rebuild it into the T-Rocket or Robot Retriever for an even more supercharged adventure with the rest of the Titans gang.
Raven, Beast Boy, and Starfire each provide access to the Teen Titans Go™! Adventure World in Jump City where players can go on missions and explore several psychedelic areas from the Titans Tower to Wacka Doodles Amusement Park.
Townsville comes to life in LEGO® Dimensions™ with The Powerpuff Girls™ Team Pack which includes LEGO® minifigures of the super-powered sisters, Blossom™ and Bubbles™. Players can use ultra-superpowers like Blossom’s Heat Vision and Bubble’s Rainbow Beam to fight crime and battle the forces of evil. For access to additional special abilities, the 3-in-1 Octi can be rebuilt into the Super Skunk or Sonic Squid, and the PPG Smartphone can be rebuilt into the PPG Hotline and Powerpuff Mag-Net.
The Powerpuff Girls™ Fun Pack includes a Buttercup™ LEGO® minifigure. Players can use this cherished champion of justice to fight crime and come just in time with supercool superpowers, like Energy Shield and Flight! The 3-in-1 Mega Blast Bot can be rebuilt into the Ka-Pow Cannon and Slammin’ Guitar to rock extra-awesome combat abilities. When the going gets tough, players can jump into the Mega BlastBot to crush foes and rebuild it into the Ka-Pow Cannon and Slammin’ Guitar to rock extra-awesome combat abilities.
Blossom™, Bubbles™ and Buttercup™ each provide access to The Powerpuff Girls™ Adventure World where players can unlock iconic locations like Pokey Oaks elementary, Rainbow Land, and Professor Utonium’s lab. When competition beckons, players can go head-to-head in the Battle Arena for endless fun.
The Beetlejuice Fun Pack brings spookiness to LEGO® Dimensions™ with a Beetlejuice LEGO® minifigure. Players can activate his supernatural powers to scare away the living with skills like Mind Control, Telekinesis and Spike Attack. Players can jump on the Saturn’s Sandworm for a joyride, and rebuild it into the Haunted Vacuum and Spooky Spider for more ghostly powers. Beetlejuice also unlocks an exclusive Adventure World and Battle Arena.

Nice bricking model! honk honk
Never thought I'd see Beetlejuice standing alongside the Powerpuff Girls and Teen Titans. But, that's Lego for you!
Mainly because of the new beetlejuice movie they are making, which in my mind is a travesty and besmirching the original film
@Bunkerneath I watched Beetlejuice in a theater last October. The incantation sequence is one of my favorites.

@Bunkerneath
I saw the original in the theater in the late 80s and I can't wait to see the sequel.
I'm a huge fan of cheesy (some are decent) sequels to decades old movies/shows. I also love Teen Titans Go (even though its hated by most TT fans because they somehow think its ruined their show that was cancelled 6 years earlier for whatever reason) even though I like the original more. I'm just glad they kept the same VAs for each iteration of the characters.
Gremlins 3 should be a hoot as well.
If the Teen Titans (in their GO! incarnation, mind you) get savagely rosted by the DC heroes' in-game lines (especially those from the far better comedic take on Batman stemming from The LEGO Movie and The LEGO Batman Movie), I'll be a happy man.
Eh... No.
I'm still waiting for Non Western franchises LEGO games like LEGO CITY Undercover.
MEH. Don't care much for PPG 2016 or TTG.
So anybody know how many GB hot downloaded to my Wii U while Idlept, whether or not I buy these? Last round of toys was about 2GB and it's getting quite full on there. Not even sure if I have my HDD or thumb drive hooked up anymore. I have been meaning to back up my Zelda U save, guess thus is my excuse.
Will probably get the 2 TTG packs even though I'm more a fan of the original. Would have bought Beetlejuice if he came in a pack with my teen crush Winnona Ryder, conga line in the game with some of the toys led by her would have been fun.
So I think this is it for Lego D, with a whimper, not a roar. Though I suppose Beast Boy could roar, but he's not exactly a Dalek or David Hasselhoff.
@NintenerdCentral
Not worth it, this is possibly the last wave.
They announced them months ago. They merely release this week.
I bought Beetlejuice, unique LEGO figure for my shelf. I tried his level a little, not much to it but that figures it being the smaller 'fun pack' I think it's called. I always liked the movie when I was a kid.
Where is @SLIGEACH_EIRE when good news come his way ?
@Tibob This is good news? Beetlejuice is good, the others are crap. Anyway, this game is a money racket. Any game with toys to life in it is.
@SLIGEACH_EIRE
Crap, I didn't take the "scamiibo" factor into account !
@Bunkerneath A Beetlejuice sequel isn't happening yet
Beetlejuice...Beetlejuice....Beetlejuice....
It's showtime!
The biggest news here is that NL is using gifs in their main page article tiles.
guess this is the last wave, I don't see them releasing anymore soon.
The original Teen Titans was great. They need to bring it back in some form. (Teen Titans Go doesn't count)
Can we get versions based on the original cartoons, not the crappy reboots?
Picked up all the stuff for the game cheap, have only spent about $50 and I have the base WiiU game, Legolas, Gimli, ET, Gremlins, BTTF, Doc Brown, Simpsons, Midway Arcade, Bad Cop, Portal 2, Doctor Who, Scooby Doo, Gollum, Wicked Witch, Benny, Unikitty, and Chase. Girlfriend and I are just digging into the game and it is LOADS of fun for us both to play as the various characters we recognize. Even if this turns out to be the final wave it'll be a great ride to shore.
Ew, PPG 2016
Heh. Wii U.
I still use mine.
The good thing about the ppg 2016 models is that they still look like the original girls, so we can still pretend they're the classic ones
