Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles: My Life As A Darklord - Seems to be the entire first chapter and atleast part of the second chapter (don't know how long exactly, didn't play through it all)

I'm not sure, but it seems that these demo versions will be available for a limited time only... Possibly they'll cycle the titles available with regular intervals...

I really liked the Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles: My Life As A Darklord demo. I love the music and all the cute sound effects. And the dialogue, of course. It's simply hilarious how the characters are aware of the title being just a demo
By the way, it lasted 50 minutes for me.

So how do the demos work? Do they automatically delete after trying, or are they permanent? I'm definitely downloading them all when I get home.

I wonder if they're going to continue doing this just for past games or if they'll ever demo new / upcoming games. It'd certainly be more useful that way, though I can understand why they'd like this method: try to get people to buy blindly first, then try to suck in the rest later.

@Adam - I'm betting they will have an expiration date - similar to the Metroid Prime 3 Preview Channel (to which they will add new demos if this ends up being successful for them).

I think it said the demo's expire at the end of January. At which point I imagine they will add some new ones, hopefully.

That sounds more fun. We shall wait and see. Roll on Friday.

I hope these demos don't affect the top 25 chart, cause that would seriously eff things up, course that might encourage everyone to make demos for their games though, which is good.

They do. Europe already has their three demos in the top five or six last time I checked about an hour ago. The free downloads for the DSi continue to remain at the top of the charts. So will these demos I should imagine.

They've climbed even higher, and it is completely unfair to put free things in the top 20, imo.

Man why the Demos timed until january. The 360 demo's are thier until the game is delisted. Also it'sthe iphone effect where the demo of the games are in the top ren and the full version provide 11-20

Another step in the right direction, Nintendo. Although there is a good chance that people will loose their interest in the games. I, for example, downloaded the My Life as a Darklord Demo an hour ago, and I removed it from my Wishlist 10 minutes ago. I thought that game was suppose to be pretty good, but it was just not fun at all.

Anyway, let's hope that we'll get more Demos along with the weekly updates.
