This reminds me that I've not touched Trine 2 since downloading it a few weeks ago.

It's best with Multiplayer.

Which is best with voice chat. The game needed it, so it's appreciated, at least for me.

I downloaded both the game and the update, I think the voice chat needs work, it's so quiet, especially over the music and even when you lower the music it's still not perfect. The only good voice chat I've seen recently in any nintendo game i've played in any 3DS/WiiU title, is Heroes of Ruin, gameplay aside the voice chat works brilliantly for a handheld title and it actually helped when playing the game, allowing you to actually communicate clearly with other players, unlike in Trine 2

The game seems fairly straightforward to me why do you need voice chat ;)

The music is totally overpowering; I had to reduce it quite a lot. Although you can use the Gamepad mic, the person I was playing with said they couldn't hear me too well so I plugged in my iPhone earphones and that improved things. Good to know I don't need a specialised headset for voice chat. I could hear the other player just fine, but they said they still had problems hearing me. I think a volume slider for voice chat would probably help - there's a gain control for the mic, so why not?
