Topic: eShop purchase deletion

Everyone has downloaded a game and later regretted the purchase, and it is annoying when the game is always connected to your account and redownloadable. It would be great if eShop purchases could be deleted from the account (much like Kindle book). If anyone is interested enough, file a ticket at http://en-americas-support.nintendo.com/app/ask, and suggest it to them.

In my opinion, that's a bad idea. I think it's good Nintendo allows you to delete games from your hard drive to be able to redownload them later, because you make space for a new game, and just redownload the old game to come back to it later.

@Ghost7: You misunderstand. You can delete from the hard drive and redownload them later, but in the eShop, there would be the option in Settings to allow you to remove a game from the account. Like, on the Kindle, you can delete and redownload books, but if you log into your account through a web browser you can remove them permanently from your Amazon account.

@Bowser908: What I'm saying is, why would you want that?

@Ghost7: It's in the OP. A game you don't want any longer, like a bad game you regret buying, would be one example. In addition to the fact that most other digital markets allow it and there's no real reason for it not to be an option.

@Bowser908: It's not like Nintendo put alerts in your face every time you enter the eShop begging you to redownload your old games. Nintendo already got your money so they don't care. The only reason why you'd ever see an option for redownloading a game is if you were looking for it or if you looked through a list of games and it just happened to be there; which doesn't bother me a bit. It would suck if I permanently deleted a game from my account to discover I wish I could play the game again. But, then, I'd have to pay for it. In my opinion, it's a useless feature.

@Ghost7: It still would be nice to have, even if you didn't use the feature, it would grant you more control over your eShop account. I'm not entirely sure how difficult it would be for Nintendo to implement it, though.
For me, I usually find it very bothersome if games I don't want anymore linger in my account.

From your words there seems to be no consequence into having an option into redownloading a game for free. (even is said game is bad.) But it's your call.

To go with what Tasuki said, creating threads to advertise/organize "social movements" or "operations" is considered spam.

Your thread became that when your intention was shown to be "please join me in my crusade to make this happen".
