Topic: What is the Wii Missing For You?

Ya put a wii in the new transformers movie, then watch it turn into a decepticon lol

Sonic CD. I know alot of people would like that.

That would be a nice addition to the Virtual Console library, but other than that the majority of the games were absolute garbage. If you want to get your hands on Sonic CD, "Sonic Gems" on the GameCube is pretty easy to find online.

Well I have it. I just want you all to see what it is like.

I'd say more Classic Arcade games are required from US-based companies.

I'd also say that messaging needs to be quicker and include headers with timestamps so you know when someone sent a message.

A way to play GBA games would be awesome (only thing I miss about the Gamecube I briefly owned) as they tend to sit in a drawer for months otherwise and that way I could play some fun 2600 games without the bloody Homebrew Channel).

Lastly the idea of SegaCD games is good, but I think coming out with an actual CD attachment like the lameness of the Sega CD and JagCD add-ons is a much better idea. A tray to put the Wii side-by-side with the unit would be ace!

Games like Team ICO's games or Flower etc. Meaning games that have other deeper values within them beside just being "fun".

DVD playback, and WHY can't I just put in a GC disc and it reads automatically? I don't want to have to select the disc channel with the wiimote and then switch back to the GC controller...I really can't think of much else I've been missing.

For that last one are you saying you wish games inserted automatically launched from start up instead of u having to select it?

Yes, I am. And I know it obviously does that for Wii games but it doesn't for GCN games. What's the dealio?

lol i dont play gcn games on my wii cuz my tv is kinda big so everything is stretched and moves slower since the games dont run of 480p for GCN on HDTVs i guess. But ya i didnt even know wii games could be told to start up automatically???

I thought they could...maybe I'm mistaken. I usually don't put in a disc first; I always turn it on and then put in a disc, so I don't remember if is does or not. With a Wii game you're going to have to use the wiimote anyway so it doesn't really matter, but with the GCN games, you can't, so why not just allow it to automatically start up?

UP TO DATE browser for starters. MUCH bigger memory (don't care if its flash just make it bigger). Customizable front page like the Photo Channel, y'know put any jpeg as your background. Maybe different colours or themes for said front page. Don't want the VC windows to display the system, just the game will do (that really bugs me). I'd like Nintendo to release another Wavebird style controller (but with a less ugly dongle). A better system for managing friends. A place where Mii's can go to mooch about with others, n play games, n stuff.
And 10 more things I can't remember right now.

It could use a few more games. I'm fine with all the other stuff.

Flower was just great all around, too.

Heck, it's pretty sad Sony has the best motion-controlled game this gen. lol
