@Kizzi-No we are planning on a Mario Kart race tonight, care to join? @Chatman-Yes,what time? Also,I'm curious if the Mario Kart Wii Code registartion with me works out.
@Kizzi I'm still on, but it looks like everyone else is off. If you want to play, let me know and I'll stay on. Otherwise, looks like they're about to start Mario Karting and in need of players.

Also, just curious, are you dropping out between every match intentionally?
Yeah, sorry. I kept trying to refine the control scheme to get something workable, but...I couldn't. It was really, really unresponsive...I don't know if that's due to lag or what, but I'd watch my character fall slowly, slowly, slowly off the bottom of the screen, pressing "jump" five or six times...and he's just floating down into death without a care in the world.
I don't remember it being nearly that bad when I used to play, so I figure it has to be a Wiimote issue.
I forgot you could even use the classic controller. Blah.

I'm not sure. I've experienced this, but never quite that bad. I'm thinking it's a lag problem, not the controller. If your system is lagging behind ours, your button input needs to be made in one of those moments when the connection is clear, I think.
Personally, if I didn't have a classic controller, I'd just go with the normal remote on its side (though the defaults are no good; you need to tinker with it). Nunchuk is just confusing. Without IR or motion control to justify it, controllers in separate hands is too awkward.
You lucky dog. Nintendo, I presume? Obviously you can't tell us what you've played, but out of curiosity... do you know anything that is likely to be revealed at E3? Not asking for titles or any other info, just curious.
@Adam No it's not Nintendo. And it sucks. Sure, I'm privy to all sorts of E3 info and stuff and I've played titles well before release... But it's called a Non-Disclosure Agreement... You sign it when you are hired... And it basically means I can never talk about anything I've done, EVER! Even after it's common knowledge! And since I use my last name and real pic on this board, I'm not willing to take that risk. And since it's not Nintendo (hint*hint) I'm working for, you probably don't care.
Let's just say Nintendo better step-up their game.
@Chicken Brutus You race like an asshole! I love it.
I have my Wii online right now,and I'm sitting here waiting patiently to race somebody. Chatman,Kizzi,or ChickenBrutus I have all of you registered. Please let me know when any of you are ready to race.
