Hello Every1! im kinda new here so i'll introduce myself quickly, im David from Venezuela, haven't put my hands on the wii U yet but im still having tons of fun with my Black edition Mario kart included Wii:).

I consider myself a careful game buyer, normally i'd read/watch lots of reviews if im going to get a new one, theres no renting option here that i know of plus given the economic mess were having here right now i can't afford the luxuxy of "trying" .

-Dragon Ball Z BT3
-Formula 1 2009
-Grand Slam tennis
-Madworld
-DK Country Returns
-The Godfather Blackhand Edition
-Okami
-Call of Duty 3
-Call of Duty Black Ops
-Call of Duty MW RE
-Goldeneye 007
-Silent Hill Shattered Memories
-Fifa 12
-NBA 2K11
-The Conduit
-Metroid Prime 3 Corruption
-Super mario Galaxy 2
-Monster Hunter Tri
-The Legend of Zelda Skyward Sword

I'm not really good with rating in numbers so I'll just tell you what I think, which is not much anyway.
You have some boring sports games which I wouldn't include in my own collection, but that's my tatse. However, you have a list of really really good games that I, myself, want to add to my little Wii games collection. Those games are:
-Madworld
-Donkey Kong Country Returns
-Okami
-Call of Duty Black: Ops
-Call of Duty: Modern Warfare - Reflex Edition
-Goldeneye 007
-Silent Hill: Shattered Memories
-The Conduit
-The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword
As I said, all of those are really good games and I can't wait to play them.

Like... 4...

But that's personal taste. I haven't even played like 80% of those games, so I'm not sure if they're good or not.

So Anakin kneels before Monster Mash and pledges his loyalty to the graveyard smash.

bezerker99

I haven't played some of the games on your list but ........some highlights that caught my eye are......Donkey Kong Country Returns and Monster Hunter Tri. I give your list a 7/10 with extra credit awarded for having Metroid Prime 3: Corruption and not Other M.

Other M is like $5 though. May as well pick it up and see what all the fuss is about lol.

I suppose it's just personal taste. I've got 8 games out of your list; 10 / 21 (total) * 8 = about a 4/10, I guess.

You should definitely do so if you haven't played it yet. If you're a fan of the 2D Metroid games, and if you can handle the fact that it's not a First-Person Metroid Prime game, you'll be fine.

No Smash Bros? I don't see Punch Out or Excitebots, two fun and underrated games.

But overall pretty good, personally I could do without the CoD and the sports games but that is just me. Saludos desde Costa Rica!

I will comment in this thread, never being able to find it again.

Hizokathe13

Guys are right, it's hard to put numbers into it and it's all about taste too. like Fifa 12, an awful game, but being such a soccer freak i had to have one , and if you like sports in general i think NBA 2k11, Grand Slam Tennis, and Formula 1 are pretty solid games, with some noticeable flaws, but good.

Thanks all fo the comments!

Ooh, I like these kind of threads.

Under your circumstances I would give your collection a 7/10.

You've got a great mix of different games, and Donkey Kong CR and Okami are two I haven't got that I really wish I did.

Given you like your sports games, you should really have Mario Strikers, and one of the Pro Evolution Soccer games is a must because of the revolutionary control scheme that is unlike any other soccer game on other platforms and really enjoyable because of it.

Also try Little King's Story and Kirby's Epic Yarn.

Are you still building your collection?

You guys had me at blood and semen.

Oh yes i am! & Thanks 4 the recommendations!

Im to much of a hardcore soccer fan so Mario Strikers isn't really an option for me, and PES, well Fifa has all those Rights, Teams, League, players, so it's always been my choice.

It's truly sad the poor version of this legendary franchise that ea gave us for wii.

Sure, Mario Strikers isn't hardcore, but it's great fun. Don't write it off unless you've already played it and didn't like it.

PES you use the wiimote to drag the players where you want them to make runs and it gives you the freedom to score all sorts of goals. You feel a lot more like you've created the goal than you ever do in any FIFA.

If you were as mad about football as me then you'd own all three. I do.

Hmm.. so you own a bunch of games that you enjoy? Sounds like a 10/10 collection to me... or maybe 9/10 so you have room to grow.

Seriously, it's impossible to rate a collection unless you are trying to accomplish some specific goal. If your goal is just to have fun, then it sounds like you are winning already.

7/10. Some excellent lesser known and underrated titles, but also some less interesting games. And owning Link's Crossbow Training and not TP or Skyward Sword is very strange.

you're missing the best game.
