I think this would be a cool game idea! You would use either the Wii wheel or the Nunchuck, and shake the Wii remote to speed up, etc. And you could be Mario, who would ride on Yoshi, Peach who would ride in a carriage, Link riding on Epona, Zelda on her white horse from OoT, Ganondorf on his black horse, and so on. I think Nintendo should make this game! How about you guys?

Nintendo makes Mario Kart, Sega makes Sega Superstars Racing. Nintendo chars are awesome, still I dont need to play them all the time..
It would be fine if they'll add some Mario characters though without creating a whole new game, just as they did with "Mario & Sonic at the Olympic Games".
It's a cool idea, to be sure. I actually had an idea similar to this, only it was a party game instead of a racing game. Mario Party to your Mario Kart, if you will. A character from every franchise, a theme board for every franchise, a set of franchise-specific minigames, franchise-specific objectives (instead of getting stars, in the Legend of Zelda board you could be vying for Triforce pieces that you buy with Rupees)...
A racing game would be sweet, too. I'd love to drive a track based on Hyrule or Brinstar, using items like bombs or the Screw Attack. Mario Kart is good, but the added variety might extend the game a bit.

I like the idea of "Nintendo Allstar Racing" but i rather them ride on vehicles and machines rather then horses and Yoshi's -_\ besides it'd be pretty much the same characters from Super Smash Bros. Brawl. I'd buy it though.
