I wish Konami would see it that way, it's flattery in one aspect.

@eripmav: Sweet! I'm really watching this closely. I read a great review of the PC version.

So the US gets this first!

Gothenburg, Sweden (July 22nd, 2009) – Legendo Entertainment today announced a July 27th North American release date for The Three Musketeers: One for All! for WiiWare™. The game will be priced at 900 Wii Points™ and will be available in English, Spanish and French language editions.

Until today the much-loved sword-swinging platform adventure inspired by Alexandre Dumas’ classic novel has only been available on the PC. “We are honored to be the first Swedish company ever to publish a console game in North America,” said Legendo Entertainment CEO & Executive Producer Björn Larsson. “We hope that North American Wii owners will enjoy our charming platform adventure and its unique visual style.”

Players control famed musketeer Porthos during a daring mission to save his kidnapped comrades Aramis, Athos and the young D'Artagnan from the clutches of the sinister Count Xavier and his evil lieutenant, the hook-handed Count Orsini. Packed with frenetic combat, heroic leaps and fun puzzles, and featuring three different endings, this is one adventure no aspiring hero will want to miss!

The Three Musketeers: One for All! supports widescreen and 480p and will be released in Europe and Australia on July 31st.

See, patience is a virtue:) I was really wanting to say something, but I'd have had a god smack if I'd have opened my mouth!

So erpimav...is that "reverse vampire," as in, Simpsons reference?

Say it is.

I'm looking very forward to this one. Even picked up a Wii Points card today with some store credit. Good luck with the big launch!

What, no candy bar tie-in promotion?

Twitter is a good place to throw your nonsense.

EripmaV basically because in real life my nickname's vampire and generally on forums it was always taken! Sadly nothing to do with the Simpson, but I could say it is just for you;)

No candy bar promotion basically due to us being a small, indie developer based in Sweden. Who knows, if it sells well and we do a follow up we could branch out if the coffers fill up enough:)

I'd only be interested in it if it wasn't so cheesy looking in the graphics department; & it might turn out to be shovelware if the gameplay is messed up! So I'd wonder how it'll be reviewed; but I bet it'll be a half baked lame excuse of a mediocre review score!

And hey remember that some of the Three Muskateers or The Man in the Iron Mask movies?! My favorite Iron Mask movie is with Leo DeCaprio!

I think I'll wait for a review. Probably won't be able to even download anything anyways until next week.

Doubt it; the reviews of the PC game have been solid, so if they've "captured the magic" I'm guessing the WiiWare version will be as well.

Tomorrow's the big day for this. Would it be out of line for me to say this is the first game I'm actually looking forward to reviewing?

My only concern is how the combat looks. Everything else seems exceptionally good, especially for a downloadable game.
