Topic: Yoshi's Woolly World - OT

I find it kind of ironic that they show the game.
The event is actually kind of aimed at NA viewers.(Can't explain why the event is that late otherwise.)
Anyway. The game get's release later this year in NA.. That's kind of mean from Nintendo. lol

Just ordered the game and green yoshi limited edition bundle so I've got the three amiibo and the game for the correct prices! Very lucky to be getting the pink and blue Yoshi amiibo but these amiibo are the ones I've wanted very much so HYPE!!

I was expecting $50, considering that Tropical Freeze was also that price.

I pre-ordered the game for €45, so $50 is definitely plausible.

It's around 40€ here in Germany. Like Splatoon.
So yeah. I can't whine about it.

I wonder something here, is the limited edition worth 73 bucks? Because the actual game is at 60 bucks here... How much does the limited edition cost for you guys?

The cheapest I could find here was 55€. So add 10~15€ to the standalone game and it's the normal price.
A single Wolly Yoshi Amiibo costs 20€.. I only can speak for myself, but it's worth it. Saves 5~10€.
Online, every Amiibo or Bundle is sold out here. I hope I can find them locally.

So who's excited? Because I know I am! Also really looking forward to the amiibo!

October is a little later than I had hoped, but I'll make it. I'm going to try to stay away from as many spoilers I can with this one. With games like Super Mario 3D World and DKC: Topical Freeze I looked up everything I could about them, but I'd like to experience Woolly World for myself.

Damnit, that's 4 months after Europe gets it. How does that even happen? :/

just a thought, but what if nintendo is delaying it to try to produce as much yarn amiibos as they can to go along with the launch in NA?

They delayed it to buff their holiday lineup. Simple as that.

The holiday line up is fairly full as it is and if anything needs more games throughout the year. It's only been Splatoon, Mario Party and Kirby so far and we are in the middle of the year.

Hmm my Pink yarn yoshi is processing but the blue one is awaiting release. Stock can't be an issue because you can get the blue and pink yarn yoshi from shopto still.

I cannot wait for this game!! Bit busy at the minute with Splatoon, a huge backlog, life and even Batman on tuesday, but this looks exactly like the game I need to play.

Just so I know, is this thread European or american? Or all?!?!

That sucks, I'm gonna have money issues again when all the games come out at the same time.

Same reason as Genei Ibun Roku Fire Emblem (I will not call it Shin Megami Tensei X Fire Emblem anymore, no ill meant against the game at all but if Nintendo isn't calling it that then why should I?) or Xenoblade and Bayonetta 2 for that matter, Wii U needed dem games.
