Topic: Wii U needs a Capcom Five

Yeah, only 1 game stayed exclusive (the mixed-reaction P.N.03) and 1 was cancelled, but still.

Capcom can barely manage 5 games period these days, let alone 5 exclusives.

Judging by Wii U support, how about the Ubisoft Five, lol.

I agree. Wii U owners clearly have Capcom's support. Especially when they release an exclusive like Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate. So if they release games like Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate, Zack and Wiki 2. I wouldn't even mind an HD Expanded version of Okamiden.
@WhereEaglesDare: If you think Ubisoft still supports Wii U, you are being fooled.

There's pretty much nothing from a third party in the Wii U's future beyond Watch Dogs, which is coming out in May next year at the earliest. Ubisoft has supported the console more than Capcom. With that said....

I'll definitely say that Capcom has some of my favorite IP, but yeah, they're being poopheads lately.

That kinda already exists, as does Breath of Fire VI (begrudgingly...). Not sure how many people want a PS2 port on a Wii U...

Well, not like any of these games were remotely possibility on Wii U except a Mega Man 11 on the eShop.

Capcom is all about Partnering with other companies these days so its a bit viable.

I can picture the scene...

1) Capcom releases a bunch of mediocre games with highly unrealistic sales target.
2) Few people buy said games because they're mediocre.
3) Nintendo releases a game by Miyamoto based on his latest hobby that sells more than said Capcom games combined.
4) Capcom blames Nintendo and promises they'll never work on N's home consoles again.

How about just Five new exclusive games period. Who really cares where they come from?

Well, we have gotten the "Platinum 2" (Wonderful 101, Bayonetta 2) and "Sonic 3"(Three exclusive Sonic-games) announcements so far..

I dont believe in a new Capcom deal however.. im not sure that i would want one either. Havent played a good (great) Capcom game in years..

Ya, this probably won't ever happen. If Capcom can make another RE or something, I presume it would be on Wii U, but not exclusive. The same goes for any other company.

Nintendo needs nothing from Capcom. If something happens, great. If it doesn't, par for the course.

Would a Capcom Five in this day in age work. The company is in a pretty sorry state and when they do put out exciting games they tend to take forever to come out or don't come out at all.

Something New

Didn't the Capcom 5 largely consist of new ideas? A Resident Evil Reimagining and 4 new IPs? If we did get a 5 anything, I'd prefer it to be something, you know, actually creative...
