The only thing I can think of now would be F-Zero.
Imagine going high speed, looking around you in the car and all that! Wouldn't that be amazing?
(Yes, I got this idea from a certain video...)

Do you have any ideas?

Wouldn't the Oculus Rift kinda destroy the Wii U? What would the GamePad screen be used for? What would be the reason to combine these two ideas?

People keep saying the Xbox One doesn't have Backwards Compatibility.
I don't think they know what Backwards Compatibility means...

Destroy is a bit of a strong word.

Well, the Oculus Rift doesn't have a touch screen, and the GamePad isn't strapped on to your face.
Just look at Nintendo Land and Game & Wario for the answer.

Destroy might have been a bit strong. With the Oculus Rift strapped to your face how are you suppose to use a touch screen? With a second screen providing information why would you strap something onto your face that blocks the second screen?

You don't have to play with both at the same time, silly.

Would Oculus Rift even work on the Wii U?

So the Wii U with Oculus Rift would be pointless?

@Beta It could probably be made as a special accessory, like Wii Fit board and all those other things.

@DefHalan No, it could be used for first person games, that don't use the GamePad, like CoD Ghosts for example, and then F-Zero in my idea kind of play style.

I don't think so because it would make the GamePad pointless.

Why? Why would having some games support the Oculus Rift, instantaneously make the GamePad pointless for other games?

If someone uses the Oculus Rift they cannot use the GamePad at the same time. I just do not see the point of having Oculus Rift on the Wii U. Please explain what the point of combining the two would be.

@DefHalan I didn't say you should combine them, I meant to use them for different games.

So the Topic is "Wii U games with the Oculus Rift" but they shouldn't combine the Wii U and the Oculus Rift?

@DefHalan Are you trying to troll me? Do you even know that the Wii U is a hardware box AND the GamePad?
At first you're talking about the GamePad and Oculus Rift, then suddenly the Wii U box and the Oculus Rift. Make up your mind please.

The GamePad is a very important part of the Wii U. I don't think there is a Wii U without the GamePad. When you bring up the Idea of "Wii U Games with the Oculus Rift" you didn't actually mean Wii U games you just meant using the Wii U as a middle man to play games using the Oculus Rift. Does that sound right?

@DefHalan I believe all sold Wii U's include a GamePad, anyway;
I ment both, actually. As I said, F-Zero while you're in the car. F-Zero is owned by Nintendo, so that could only be on the Wii U.
And then for, example, Black Ops, in that game the Wii U would indeed just be a middle man, since CoD is on all consoles.
(And also, just because a game is on the Wii U doesn't mean it has to include the GamePad.)

The F-Zero example would work better as Nintendo Games using the Oculus Rift. Black Ops 2 still had GamePad features that weren't on the other consoles. As for Wii U Games using the Oculus Rift, I do not see how that would work.
