Kamiya already said he doesn't wanna work on StarFox anymore because people wouldn't leave him alone about it.
True. But, is it possible that he said that when he acquired the rights to make a StarFox game so he could work on in it secret without people asking him about the whole time he's developing it? But I'm just playing devil's advocate. I would rather someone other than Platinum makes StarFox. I just feel like Kamiya would make the game... too involved. StarFox works well as an arcade style game, in my opinion.
I was going to question that "1997-2014". The only reason it would be that is if it was a remake SF64. So, Why would it be called Eldorado? Star Fox Gold? Oh, it's "Eladard" My mistake.
I would find this doubtful too. Star Fox 64 already got a remake on the 3DS not too long ago (2.5 years?)

So fake that it hurts. However I would love for some sort of Star Fox news to come at this year's E3. I know we'll get a new Zelda shown, but I'm a gamer so I always want MOAR!

JP's tweet convinces me that this is real and was concocted by the one and only Kamiya himself. Read it again with this knowledge.
Really? How so? If anything it makes me think its more fake than I already thought, especially after you look at the description in the video too and the fact that there is no gameplay footage.

this, more than anything else. if the video had at the very least a few button presses navigating through a menu it'd be the most convincing fake rumor ever(except the video's description gave it away too)

Well, I haven't watched the video... Nor will I...
I just like the idea that Kamiya would troll us all and forget the proper title of his own company. And then JP would deflect suspicion by calling him out. Brilliant.
Has there ever been a shaky cam "leak" that's not completely fake? Last big leak I remember that was actually real was the Rayman Legends one
and that was basically an "internal use only" trailer. If something is going to leak it's much, much more likely going to be something along those lines. Not some dodgy shaky cam footage of an opening screen.
