I know a new Star Fox game is in development and the best thing about a Star Fox game is the flying bits. If they incorparated more flying sequences and it was Star Fox Adventures 2 then this would be an ice breaker for me. Star Fox Adventures on the Gamecube is like Metroid Prime Trilogy......AWESOME!
If they made it a competent Zelda clone as well as the flying sections as good as Starfox or Starfox 64, then I'll consider it. Very disinclined to buy a sequel to Starfox Adventures though.
Trust me with the delay of Zelda U....we need more games like Bayonetta 2 to come along to fill the gaps. If there is nothing to buy on Wii U then they will buy anything during a quiet period.
I didn't like Starfox Adventures and I don't believe it can be "fixed". It wasn't meant to be a Starfox game to begin with.
Give me Lylat Wars 2, that is all I ask.
I don't feel like SFA needs to be fixed. The majority of the hate is over it not playing like Star Fox 64 and the completely tacked-on flying segments. KI:U played nothing like the previous KI game, so that reason is a load of hooey, and as it'd be SF from the start, the flying segments would be intentional, rather than being added at the last second. SFA received some pretty good scores from reviewers who didn't expect it to be SF64: the second coming, and I full well agree with those scores.

You kinda miss how the game actually is bad. It had very monotone combat, indecisive mechanics, a truckload of cut content, and was ridiculously short (took me just three hours to see the credits). The big thing Adventures had going for it was the exceptional graphics, but everything else ranged between mediocre and subpar, StarFox or not.
I still don't understand how this game scored so high when it was so blatantly unfinished - or need I remind you of the fight against General Scales? Oh wait...
I never played Star Fox Adventures, but on paper it looks much more up my alley than a traditional Star Fox game. I'd certainly get a sequel if it were ever released.

Starfox Adventures presents a perfect balance because the traditional levels take place when you move from one planet to another so you never get bored of them.
I felt like the combat, while nothing new, was really not so bad. It didn't present itself as the main point so much as dungeoneering, which was what I enjoyed most about it. Maybe Nintendo could make a new series spin-off with the gameplay style. A series in which you have nore free movement than in Zelda games, with less linear dungeons and perhaps a bit more varied in gameplay opportunities and story ideas. Wouldn't have to associate at all with Star Fox or Zelda. Could have it's own engine, if the team was inspired enough. Either way, I think most of us can agree that the Star Fox part of SFA isn't the key ingredient.
Yes! I wish so much! I love this game!! In my opinion the best Star Fox game! the character design and the graphics looks the best in the game and the old rare can easily make good games! well the game had a few weaknesses, but i hate the people who wail and hate this game just because it's different.and Nintendo supports this also! Come on Nintendo!
