It would totally happen. It's not that I don't see the logic in that, it's that enough people with money don't see the logic in that.

Mario Kart...maybe. But I don't see that happening as a launch title. A new Wii Sports could be made by launch. Easily. It took 9 months for Mario Kart on 3DS, and even then they had to borrow Retro Studios.

I don't know what fantasy world you live in but with the economy the way it is, the only people buying the Wii U in its first 6 months are hardcore gamers and teeny boppers. Not casuals.

Logically, what you say makes sense. That's the problem, you're expecting logic from a lot of these people.

oh yeah and also before I forget, the awesome example of motion control they showed for Wii Sports baseball on Wii U at E3, looked awesome and was one of the things that impressed everyone. I've pratically forgotten the controller's screen is touch controlled, did anyone care about the Wii U because of touch controls?

That has nothing to do with anything I'm trying to say. I'm saying that even if the Wii U has a Wii Fit ++ U sequel it won't sell consoles like no tomorrow.
