Sorry if this has been posted already but now that we know Mario Mii and Pikmin will be shown and most probably will be launch titles what other franchise from Nintendo would you like to go along with these 2 as a launch title?Going by my theory that there will be 3 1st party launch titles, which other title would you like to see to make this an impressive launch line up?I am going to go for Eternal Darkness 2 which I am confident would bring back a lot of detractors. The controller and sanity meter sound like a match made in heaven to me.Fingers crossed.
along with: F-zero- with the help of sega advance wars 3D virtua fighter 5: final showdown resident evil assassins creed 3 aliens: colonial marines metroid- made by either retro studios or gearbox legend of zelda- based on that demo from last year
All they need is Mario, Pikmin 3, F-Zero, and something completely new on the first-party front, and then a good mix of third-party titles.
And I don't think everyone is planning on buying all of these games at launch. I myself would probably only pick up 2 games at most and not get anything else for at least two months while I wait for my wallet to recover.
Wii U Sports (which inludes Tennis, Bowling, Boxing and Golf, Baseball and other sports). This is included with the console, either disc based or pre-installed. Wii U Party (a variety of mini games including Battle Mii, Chase Mii and Shield Pose as seen at E3 2011). This is download-only for the first twelve months, after which a disc based version is made available. Wii U Fit (updated exercises, dietary functions, heart rate monitor, ability to download and share workout routines/fitness tips/accomplishments online with other users) New Super Mario Bros. U Pikmin 3 Wii U Virtual Console - Nintendo GameCube, Sega Dreamcast and Sega Saturn games to be added to the existing Wii Virtual Console catalogue. Wii U Virtual Console to have the following Nintendo GameCube games available at launch: Super Mario Sunshine, Luigi's Mansion, Pikmin 1 & 2 and The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker. Wii to Wii U transfer software available at launch which will allow Wii owners to transfer their Wii Virtual Console downloads to their Wii U. Wii and Wii U Virtual Console games to be playable on the Wii U Controller. Built-in mini games: Mii RPG and Face Raiders U with more to follow. BBC iPlayer, Channel 4OD, YouTube HD and other video streaming related software.
The point is that Wii U Sports and Wii U Fit with improved visuals, sounds and additional functionality would be a fantastic addition to the line-up. I still use Wii Sports and Wii Fit to this day. They're lovely casual gaming experiences.
As much as the innovation with Wii U is the touch screen this does not mean that every game released for the Wii U will have the new controller as the primary method of control. I see motion controls still being very much at the forefront of what Nintendo have to offer.

But why at launch? That's where they're supposed to focus on proof-of-concept stuff to show off what new the system can do.
