I was looking at a Swedish site called Prisjakt.se and I found a Mario styled controller that was released in some other countries. The controller was called PDP Wii U Fight Pad Controller - Mario Edition. And there was going to be more one's like a Peach and a Yoshi styled controller. I think these controllers was showed off at E3 this year, but I'm not sure. Anyway, do any of you guys know when these controllers will be released in EU or USA?

I would go for the Hori ones. (I have had other PDP stuff that wasn't very good) never had anything bad from Hori yet.

I ordered the Mario and Luigi Hori ones, because they have a bigger D-pad and I trust the brand a lot more, but they're in the mail so I haven't got them yet to say for sure how good they are. I do have a Hori arcade stick that's perfect though. Meanwhile, I have a PDP mini Wii remote that the D-pad isn't super accurate on, and if I recall, even the motion controls were doing weird things when I tried to play Bit.Trip Beat with it, so I'm not too sure I would trust PDP again.

Found a review that said the PDP ones have a shiny finish vs matte on the Hori ones, so the Hori ones are probably a lot easier to grip. They also spoke highly of the enlarged D-pad on the Hori-branded ones. Looking forward to these arriving now.

The Pdp ones have Mario, Luigi, Yoshi, Peach, Samus, DK, Wario. The Hori ones have Mario & Luigi and Pikachu (Japan). The Hori gamepads are out of stock in Amazon France but you could order them for 19.99€ each. I am personally leaning towards the Hori ones as well.

Thanks for all suggestions! Alla of you guys said that you would buy a Hori controller instead of PDP. But I'm going to try the PDP controller and see what I think, and give my personal opinion on it.

Got my Hori pads, and they're great. The buttons and sticks feel identical to the ones on the official Smash GC controller, except for the larger D-pad and easy-to-click shoulder buttons. The shell seems to be identical to the GC controller in size and feel, or at least close enough to it I can't tell the difference. The weight is a little less due to no rumble (and possibly the simpler shoulder buttons).
