Topic: NSMBU

I actually thought NSMB was hella different from NSMBW. Design wise. I didn't like it much though but I hope I like NSMB2. I loved NSMBW.

Am I the only one who thinks, apart from U, the first NSMB game looks the best? 2 looks just nice and the Wii one looks too shiny, for me.

I wonder if the kooplings are going to make an appeance? That would be cool.
Hopefully the make this one more challenging than NSMBW, that on was challenging but I want this one to be more challenging.

Yeah, nothing like having the Koopalings in yet another New Super Mario Bros. game. It would be so original!

My thoughts exactly. I'm annoyed that they had the audacity to put them in NSMB2.

If anything, NSMB2 should be renamed World since U doesn't have nearly as much SMW elements. Especially if Petey Piranha is in it.

That's what I'm thinking. If you're going to do a sequel to New Super Mario Bros. by putting a 2 in the title, at least show some continuity from the original game. NSMB2 has NSMBW music, and koopalings. So far that's more of a sequel to the Wii game, which should be what U is...

Maybe we could have some special worlds after you beat the game like Super Mario 3D Land? Reuse levels from the original worlds but change them up a bit and make it harder. But also throw in new, original, insanely difficult levels.

I think what he means is the New Super Mario Bros. "series" is pretty much a "series" of games that bases itself off of the original Super Mario Bros. games.

@GamecubeMan Donkey Kong Country Returns replaced the enemies with a whole new set of enemies. That's based on the original DKC series. That would be like a Super Mario Bros. game without goombas, koopa troopas or even Bowser.

i wasnt talking about DKCR...... besides that a completly different publisher for Nintendo located in Texas while the other is somewhere else in the world. By the way Retro Studios has my faith in publishing Retro games.... just saying
