Topic: No DLC for Black Ops II on the Wii U

I feel someone already made a topic on this,but here I go.We've been done injustice.Activision has not given an answer as to why they won't release DLC on the Wii U yet,if I could say yet.Not only is this discrimination,but it's being a bad company.If you want something done,then consider signing this petition:

Even if you aren't a CoD fan,this is still an injustice done to Wii U owners.It's like the Wii all over again.

do tell how is it discrimination? Has there been any indication that WII U Blops2 sales have been sufficient enough to make porting the dlc worth it.

They aren't giving us what others have.Also,they have given others answers about other systems,but no answers on the Wii U.

There are like 2,000-5,000 people online at any given time playing on Wii-U, while there are 150,000-300,000 playing online on BOTH PS3 and 360 at any given time. That's why Wii-U wont be getting DLC.

But have the sales been good enough? If only one person bought the DLC it wouldn't be worth porting would it?

i feel "cheated" regarding dlc for blops2. I could of bought the 360 version, but opted for the wii u outing. Why is there been no announcement, either way ?

But that could be 2,000-5,000 people not playing the game anymore because of there being no DLC.The demand for the DLC is high and we'v gotten no replies on the issue.

@Drobotic You've got to keep in mind that Activision likes to make lots of money, and even though porting the maps would make them money, it wouldn't make them as much money as other things. If you have the option of making a dozen workers pump out a DLC package for an audience of about 5,000 people, or use those workers to help pump out a bigger project (like the next COD game, R&D for next gen systems, more Skylanders stuff, etc.) then it makes sense to opt out of the porting, even if it'd be quick.

Also, I fail to see how this is an injustice. You're never forced to buy a certain system, and there was never DLC promised in the first place for the Wii U version of the game. If you're sad that DLC isn't coming, blame the fact that Nintendo didn't do a good enough job getting people to buy the Wii U in the first place.

I do think Activision should release a press statement regarding the DLC on Wii U, when/if it will be coming to the system. I only hope that their silence means they are still talking about possibly porting it

But they would still make money from the other versions,so who cares about the amount of money they'll make?

Well I will be getting uprising on ps3, the only thing I care about for the dlc (or cod in general) is zombies, I love it and can't wait to use the tommy guns in mob of the dead.

Their shareholders do, obviously.

Well more people play Black Ops on Wii than Black Ops 2 on Wii U and that still didn't get dlc even though Activision said it would put it up on the Wii Shop. On Wii, about 30,000 people are always playing BLOPS. On Wii U, it's about 2000-3000. I wish it would happen but it probably won't.

Well ya, they want profit overall, but if they break even, Wii U just has a game for free pretty much, right?
Lets say it takes 12 hours to port it over THROUGH AN AUTOMATIC PROGRAM on a game dev computer, and all they have to do is pay $5,000 for it to go live on eShop. It wouldn't seem that hard.
Actually, it might be better if we just let this die out. Those petitions are a waste of time. I rarely even play it, and Activision doesn't care.

It's like converting an MP3 to MP4 or AAC. I just made it up, but I don't see why it wouldn't work. It could just scramble the data and rearrange it to fit Wii U coding. That would make things alot easier, and my guess it that it could work porting Unreal Engine 4 to Wii U, too. 2-in-1 device = yay
