Topic: Nintendo version of PS Home?

I know a lot of people don't like PlayStation Home. Am not a huge fan of it my self. But what if Nintendo made something like Home but using the Mii's.

I love Miiverse and I think it is a great idea. But I would like to see like a Ninendo Home sort of things. Where you could walk around with your Mii talk to people. Have some mini games in there as well and some spaces for different games. I think it would work very well with the Mii's.

So... Nintendoland but bigger and with online functionality?

About right. I would not mind something like that either.

Nintendo wouldn't do this because they don't have the resources to moderate every single conversation. You know, gotta protect the kids.

They could have Mod Bots.

Nintendo can't even moderate MiiVerse properly.

They could put minors in a separate area. Or block them period. Whatever works best for them

It's called Animal Crossing. So if anything, Home is Playstation's Animal Crossing.

They don't need to because they already have it, it's called Nintendo land or.... Animal crossing New Leaf like others have said

Well, compared to online conversations I've seen on PS3 & XBOX, Wii U seems to be filled more with more polite and well-mannered people.

Is Animal Crossing New Leaf even coming to Wii U? It's a 3DS title. If it does though, yeah, that's basically PS home equivalent.

@retro no its not, but it's kinda like what he was explaining that he wanted from Nintendo so we gave AC as an example (also you know there will be an AC game for WiiU at some point )

Nintendo needs to make an MMO(or whatever game has real people walking around in one world, like Everquest, WoW, Guild Wars etc.), make it like Minecraft, but with better graphics and overall coolness...

There needs to be a CASUAL home and a HARDCORE home... Maybe people should just play actual games on their consoles instead of worrying about lameo stuff like this

Yeah. Miiverse pretty much kicks Home's ass in terms of connecting gamers to communities. The key (and this is so going to be copied by nextbox, psGnome) is to bring the conversation directly into the game.

Minecraft has some of the best graphics ever designed. What are you talking about?

Not everyone will appreciate the stylized graphics. To the average person, they look really bad.

To the average person minimalism looks bland, opera and ballet are boring and Shakespeare doesn't make sense. Doesn't mean the average person is right.

Which is my point. Obviously there's some great stuff in those things you listed, but upon first glance of Minecraft, what most will see is "This crap looks like LEGOs."

Not everyone will appreciate the experimental/stylized. Look at Little Inferno reviews, look at underground film festivals, look at 12 Oz Mouse. And two of those aren't really that far from mainstream.
