Now they just need to support 5.1 PCM on Wii U. I don't think Xbox One Netflix(I haven't been on Xbox One Netflix in a while) has Super HD and none of them(including PS4) have 3D. Netflix dropped the ball, big time, but PS4 is supposed to get 4K in the fall.
Did they update controller support? I think it sucks only being able to use the gamepad with its lame battery life. You have to go charge it while your watching something.
My advice would be to put apps like this on the INTERNAL flash memory. I have an ext. HDD, but Netflix didn't even work most of the time(it would get stuck on the loading dot things, or freeze), so I moved it to the internal flash and have never had any problems.

I think we've already discussed this before, but hopefully it will help someone else, because it for sure fixed the freezing for me I'm not sure what would be going on if the app is already on the internal flash and it still freezes...

Is there any way to stream Netflix without the Gamepad constantly having to stay on? You can't go to the home screen and turn it off without stopping it from playing on the TV.....
seems like this is going to drain the battery on it, because even when it's in sleep mode and resting on the charger, it's probably going to shorten the lifespan. It's also kind of annoying to constantly have to get up and pick the Gamepad up when I want to switch to another show.
Seems like you need to disable the automatic power down feature on the Wii U for Netflix to run properly. My screen dimmed after watching something because it doesn't recognize that you're watching something.....
So the ridiculousness of only supporting the gamepad controller for netflix is still there and it sounds like the app is even more broken if the screen is dimming, I don't recall that problem before
