2 weeks until release for us in Australia. Going to be a long 14 days I think

I hope the CPP XL shows up alongside the XL. I'm not getting the 3DS version of MH3U, but I have Kid Icarus and RE right here that I would use it for.
I know alot of 3DS owners are looking forward to the game, but alot want/need the CPP XL.

Just to let you know, I will be calling a lot of the monsters by their Japanese nicknames.

Omg, like I played 2hrs of it and that was just the prologue, I'm currently following ign's walkthrough, I had no clue what I was doing at the start prior to using the guide. But I'm slowly learning. But there's so much to learn its very overwhelming for new players. I can see why new players like myself get put off.
But I'm sticking with it.

Btw I'm finally the learning the controls on the gamepad which was a challenge in its self trust me.

Oh man just 10 more days! I can't wait!!!! Prepare fellow hunters! It's gonna be hell of a good time playing this with you guys!

The demo was amazingly awful. Even worse than the Freedom Unite demo. They threw you into the game with no explanation of what to do, and put you up against tough as nail monsters with stricter than usual time limits, even on novice. I knew what I was doing and had trouble clearing the novice mission with the weaker weapons.

Novice - 10 minutes with lite gunner
Expert - 15 minutes with lite gunner

I used Wiimote and Nunchuk for the Wii version back in the day but I like selecting stuff on the touchscreen now so it took a while to adjust... I'm ready for the main event

Nah, 3DS doesnt have online. The only reason I've got 500+ hours on MH Tri is online

Lagombi is one of the weakest Tundra monsters. Only Great Baggi is easier. I could barely control the camera and I still killed it in eight minutes. However, I did find it odd they lowered the time limit to 20 minutes.

On the other hand, I detested the underwater portion of the Plesioth battle. Mediocre lock on does not a good camera system make. It took me three tries to down Plesioth without any faints, and even then it took me ~15 minutes because I was being very careful not to get slammed underwater. I liked underwater combat in Tri and I liked Plesioth in Freedom/Freedom Unite, but here I like neither.

...I had no issues with underwater on the Wii U...it controlled no differently than on Tri. (besides Target Lock)
And 15 minutes is considered a normal time when soloing Plessy on here.
