Lets see your proof that Nintendo actually asked for Banjo, Conker, etc to be in the Diddy Kong Racing sequel (not port)? How do you explain the DKC games actually being on the Wii VC despite what you say? And maybe DK64 wasn't released earlier as it's not very good? It's more of a Banjo game with the DK crew added in than an actually DKC game anyway. Then after answering all that maybe you could explain why Nintendo have also said all those problems about GoldenEye 007 are reasons why they've not pushed for a rerrelease.

Like I said, easier to just believe what you want in your bizarre agenda against Spencer. I couldn't care less about him to be fair, but from what I've seen of him he's a gamer who's a try hard. There's no malice or anti-Nintendo agenda to him. Unless you imagine one...

@rallydefault: I would never hold him in THAT high a regard, regardless of what he does, but I can accept and respect that he genuinely has a respect and a passion for his work. I'm just pointing out that we should most definitely be cynical whenever he comments, especially with comments like this one. Because, for like the third time, he has lied about this in the past. I don't need anyone to tell me that he doesn't make the decisions either, but of course he will get the plaudits if on Tuesday the 0.00000000000000000001% chance happens and Banjo is announced as a playable character in Smash. Because of course he will. But I think I've made my point quite clear now anyway.

@rastamadeus: what? Really, that's your response? Why would they deliberately remove characters from a racing game port (which it 100% was FYI, it wasn't called Diddy Kong Racing 2). Not putting them on the VC because they're 'not very good?' You're grasping at straws there to avoid the truth, honestly.

I love how Microsoft, Sony and Nintendo are pretty much friends. They're still rivals, but friendly rivals.

In the 90's / 00's the cynics were usually right, but recently I think even the most pig headed are being pleasantly surprised by some announcements.

@GrailUK: Yea, I mean anybody can see there is A LOT of crossover happening these days between "the big three." Even silly things like the Wreck It Ralph movie a couple years ago show a light-hearted picture of how all three companies contribute to create fun worlds and characters for everyone on increasingly varied platforms.

Cloud in Smash? Very cool. Heck, even Final Fantasy XIII coming to the Xbox years ago was monumental at the time. Many people said, "No. NEVER will happen." But now look where we are. New Final Fantasy games on Microsoft's console are basically a given.

And Nintendo's putting out games for iOS and Android.

So, Rare Replay on the Wii U? Stranger things have happened. Literally.

We could get a special extended WiiU version if they decided to put DKC in there, after XB fans for some dumb reason thought it would be included again. Even though that wouldn't excite me personally because I have the WiiU downloads, it would entice some buyers I'm sure.

I think it would be a better move to just put Banjo-Kazooie and Banjo-Tooie on the Wii U eShop, and focus/hype on those 2 titles. Of course this would only be possible if Banjo made it in Smash. Microsoft/Rare already know if Banjo is in Smash or not.
