Doesn't change the fact that to start with Mario Kart 8 has barely any content. (That is what other Publishers usually do by deliberately not providing much content and then charging for it later).

So...what is missing?
The DLC of course. If you buy the base game you deserve all the content Nintendo has been withholding from you.
My SD Card with the game on it is just as physical as your cartridge with the game on it.
I love Nintendo, that's why I criticize them so harshly.

Do you have proof they withheld this content from the disk release? Are you sure they didn't make this either after the game's release?
People keep saying the Xbox One doesn't have Backwards Compatibility.
I don't think they know what Backwards Compatibility means...

No. Because development time and money post-launch went into it. Based on this info and the quality of the courses in this game, probably a significant amount.

Curse them for releasing a complete Mario Kart game and THEN wanting to add extra content later. FOR SHAME! >:[

@Def_Halan Yeah, but he's doing it for the sake of furthering his quest. Karting does absolutely nothing in his favor, much less saving Hyrule.
@Ryno Smash is an entirely different thing. If they or their dearest friends and relatives are in danger, everyone fights. Every character can get serious. Also, keep in mind that Smash takes place in a separate canon. Mario Kart is a direct part of the Mario franchise.
@MasterWario Ironic, since you only get coins in Mario Kart, which are worthless to Link. Every minigame in Zelda nets Link something advantageous, be it money, items, or even equipment. He doesn't waste time with stuff that doesn't get him anywhere.

It's an excuse to make more money of a game. It's not as if they would charge you $80.00 for Mario Kart 8 if this content was included in the game from the beginning.
@DefHalen I didn't add my usual [sarcasm][/sarcasm] tags and it's been awhile since I've posted a long pro-DLC rant on this site. It's my fault for the confusion, sorry. For the record though, I am 100% pro-DLC.
