Eh I loved both games. Both have great dungeons, characters and art (to be honest, both use pretty much the same art with different palettes and small changes here and there).
However, I love all the colors in Skyward Sword. TP was a little bit too dark and bloomy for my taste (and going underwater was a painful for my eyes).

SS is just better for my eyes. (Oh and the parts on Lanayru were great and sad at the same time imo. I loved that region of the map).

Midna made up for the bloom and very, very, very long intro IMO

I didn't hate Twilight Princess. I just didn't like the style of the game. It tried way too hard to be dark and ominous, and suffered for it

Anywho, back to topic, I would like to see Majora's Mask remastered in some form or fashion...but preferably on the 3DS

I'd like an HD collection of every 3D Mario game, from Super Mario 64 to Galaxy 2. Having the ability to switch to the original graphics would be cool too.

You weren't the person saying it looked horrible, that it was the worst Zelda game by far and that it was "complete and utter crap".

Plus we were talking visuals which is a game Twilight Princess can't win. There are only really two Zelda games that you can compare Twilight Princess to visually... Majora's Mask and Ocarina of Time. That's a lost battle there, Twilight Princess can't win against the messiah of the Zelda series no matter how much better it is or isn't visually. The rest are either 2D or went with a completely different style which makes it impossible to compare. So everyone's going to say "Twilight Princess is the worst looking Zelda" and nobody can disagree.

Doesn't mean it's a horrible looking game or that it's a horrible game. It's a GREAT game.

No one ever bashes Majora's Mask for its "ugly" palette color. Why Twilight Princess? Do you have some sort of grudge towards it?

Majora's Mask was VERY colorful, the main villain alone is purple with pink and red lines and shapes everywhere (and at some point it attacks you with colorful toys) and you fight her in an electric blue room with green, yellow and magenta light effects.
Also, LztheBlehBird never said that line, it was the fine user Knux.

Saying it isn't "right" shows how terrible your taste is. Sorry.

For someone who is studying arts, the palett of colors you use, says something about you.

For someone who is studying gaga, the lack of gaga you speak of, says something about you.

Majora's mask still managed to have a dark, atmospheric and ominous feel to it without looking dull and unispired in places like twilight princess did.

@Mickeymac- In the end, you said it. Following your point of view, you can say all you want, as long as that person doesn't feel offended. And of course, if you actually know or talk with that person for some time, even better. In the end, let's make up an excuse.

@Chronno- Precisely what i just said in the end of my comment. And of course, you could actually read it again, to let's say, try to understand that I wasn't stereotyping anyone, but saying that everyone enjoys their own world, being the real one or not.

Now you're tiptoing around the question. Now tell us all, what's your excuse for acting like your opinion is better than everyone else's?

Seriously, all I said was Twilight Princess needed to be remade, just for the sake of it visually. Its a fantastic game otherwise. Its not bad looking either, its just right now it seems to show a lot of age. Like Ocarina of Time did before the 3DS version. Majora's Mask should and probably will be remade also. I don't see the point in people bashing the actual game instead of the visuals, how is that relevant?

Moving on

That would be cool! I'd love to play Super Mario 64 in HD. Then again, I'd love to play them all in HD.

You're acting like there wasn't any other colors aside from green, yellow and black. But there was the last time I checked and TP had a very large color palette just like Ocarina of Time and Majora's Mask.

People need to think about what they mean when thinking about what a colour palette is.

Colour isn't just there to look pretty. In Zelda games, it's there for atmospheric reasons. WW is probably the most vibrant game ever but it doesn't constantly rely on the primary's to get by. TP isn't full of bright colour for a reason. It helps carry the mood of the gameplay. Changing a colour palette on a game like TP could ruin it and change it's entire feel.

TP had as much colour as WW but the shades and gradients were altered to change the games soul when required to carry a mood or feeling. A change in shade or how light illuminates a colour can change the theme and soul of a game dramatically.

This I agree with, for the most part. I don't think we're really talking about whether or not it fits the game, though. Twilight Princess' style works to set a darker tone than Skyward Sword had, but that's not gonna stop people from finding it boring to look at. Meanwhile, Skyward Sword uses brighter colors and a large variety of primary colors to make its world seem lively, but even if it works, it still hurts me eyes, so I'm not gonna like it.

SS almost resembles a watercolour painting. It's very fluid and full of movement. While it is bright, every colour has gradients that show feelings and it all looks rustic and organic. The world truly feels alive when explored by Link. The colour palette in SS speaks of new beginnings, a fresh new adventure full of life and spirit. The colours change to fit a mood in any given area and moment of the story brilliantly.

My favourite palette to date is TP. The way Nintendo applied colours to compliment mood was stunning and nothing short of perfect.

Why does Twilight Princess vet so much hate. Even though I had played zelda games before (through the collectors disc that came with my cube and oracle of seasons) but Twilight Princess is my favoorite game and I think of ot like older people think about oot.

I think it's because people who played OOT to death didn't want to play a game that's so similar to it. I think maybe they just don't like OOT as much as they think they do. Half the reason I liked TP was because it was like a bigger version of OOT, which I enjoyed but only played through once instead of a million times. The other half was the atmosphere, and the things it brought from ALTTP, such as a vastly larger world and the dark world (even though it doesn't work the same). I thought the wolf transformation was really cool, too. The story was also better than any Zelda game before it, too, IMO.

TP is only the second Zelda game that I actually enjoyed on the second time through, too (I'm a once per game kinda guy), after A Link to The Past. Just saying.
