It really depends. Sometimes the controls and game mechanics are jacked, so I don't blame myself for those. Genre wise, the only ones I'm generally bad at are puzzle, strategy, and sim games. I don't really try to play sim games, though.

As many others have stated, Fighters & Shumps.

Also, Age of Empires. I can't remember which one I had, but I played the heck out of it back in the day. Mostly in the creation mode though, because every time I actually tried playing it for real, I'd barely be out of the Stone Age when my rival civilization would somehow be fully advanced & roll in to crush me out of nowhere, lol.

Currently Playing:
Switch - Blade Strangers
PS4 - Kingdom Hearts III, Tetris Effect (VR)

Star Fox 64

People keep saying the Xbox One doesn't have Backwards Compatibility.
I don't think they know what Backwards Compatibility means...

Every strategy game ever made except Final Fantasy Tactics

more often than not "loved" might be an exaggeration though.

Civilization on higher difficulty settings. In 5th, I win the game on Prince with little to no sweat, but on King and higher I get pwnd and totally annihilated by Russia and barbarians.

Same with XCOM: Enemy Unknown/Within - I get total ownage from cheapshoting aliens, but I still really like the game. The sense of victory is incredible and loosing is saddening.

The truth is, I don't care if I suck at game or not, but only if I have fun with it.

The original Age of Empires had some crazy cheatcodes. Want to equip your ancient Babylonians with lasers and rocket launchers? No problem!

I don't remember most from the first AoE, but the second I have a good chunk of them memorized.

My favorite would have to be the "aegis" cheat code, because it turns on insta build. Want a villager? Click, instant villager. Want to advance to the next age? Click, instant advancement. It was fun to compete with the computer.

There was also an insta win code, but I can'I remember that one off the top of my head.

Formally called brewsky before becoming the lovable, adorable Yoshi.
Now playing:
Final Fantasy XIV (PC) | The Legend of Zelda: Link's Awakening (Switch) | Celeste (Switch)
