Dude, you complain WAAAAAAAAY too much over failing Kickstarter campaigns. If a game fails, it's because it didn't grasp enough attention of the gamers to want it. Not just because Wii U gamers are "ignorant".
So, I should help pay the developer so he can get paid again for his work?
Well if you pledge enough for a copy of the game then you aren't paying them twice. So then you are only helping the developer get paid once and that is during development, the time that developers need money the most.
We at NL do not represent the entirety of kickstarter website as a whole meaning that we only make up a small (if any) portion of game funding you see here. And even then though just because you like a game at kickstarter does not mean that the other person will like it too. I'm sorry but that's how the world works.......... That's what asking around other websites and ppl are for
Was Mariobro4. No, I'm not taking off my backpack...it's important.
I'm quite wary of giving people money for a product that has not released it. Unless if it is by someone established in the business (Keiji Inafune, Double Fine, etc.) there is no way I'm funding it (and even then I have yet to do it). I can buy it when it releases.
Best thread ever

I can see why kickstarters are popular, i know if i was a dev i wouldn't even try a publisher. i would just go straight to kickstarter for the 100% profit, that the game makes is successful.
Plus keeping complete control over the project and the IP which a publisher normally tries to own the IP.
People keep saying the Xbox One doesn't have Backwards Compatibility.
I don't think they know what Backwards Compatibility means...
