Topic: Current Online Multiplayer Wii U Games

Just logged into Ghosts and noticed this week end is dbl xp if anyone cares.

I will never understand why Pikmin 3 isn't on this list. It's one of the dumbest things done by Nintendo all of last year. I would be playing the game so much more if there were online bingo matches and co-op challenges. I mean, I poured a ton of hours into the game anyway.. but it's just such a missed opportunity. An obvious one at that. -_-

I actually was going to ask if anyone else is having trouble finding matches in Assassin's Creed 4. I just got the game two weeks ago and just tried to play a bit of multiplayer tonight but I had no luck finding a match.

Actually it is better to have list with ACTIVE WiiU online games. Because most of the nintendo network supported game are dead with online multiplayer.

800-1500 People online. Possible to play co-op missions (Aliens & Defens) and versus.

Cod: BO2
800-1500 People online. Possible to play co-op missions (Zombies) and versus.

Splinter Cell Blacklist
It was no luck for me to play co-op missions with other players. And I do not tried Spies vs. Mercs.

Need for Speed MW U
Surprisingly is is no problem to find people to play online.

Trine 2
Because of sales - there is some people playing it in online co-op

Assassins Creed 3
I didnt found any people online to play with. Fail.

Dungeons & Dragons:Chronicles of Mystara
Usually ladder is empty. But if you start to play alone - your might get some people to join.

Tekken Tag 2
Actually I've tried to watch some replays. But game users talk that there is possible to find some matches.

Ps. I was going to buy Sonic & All Stars Racing Transformed but owners an miiverse tell me that online is almost dead for it. And I little afraid to spend 40 euros to check if it is true or not.

You can find matches in Tekken Tag Tournament 2, but you'd be lucky to get one on your first attempt.

When I played Tekken sometime last year, I had no problems with finding an online match. Also, I didn't think Splinter Cell for Wii U had online coop for the campaign.

When I played it in January, online was very active. Don't know about lately though.

Brawl online was absolutely atrocious and one of my biggest disappointments from last generation. Man was I hyped for smash bros online and boy did it really smack me in the face.

I hope by releasing Mario Kart first this time, they are able to work out the network kinks for Smash Bros. Mario Kart Wii and Mario Kart 7 had pretty good online setups. If the next Smash Bros can't do online correctly... c'mon Nintendo please don't mess this up.

Wait, do you think Hyrule Warriors will have online play? Is this common for the Dynasty Warrior series?

I think you confused Namco Bandai with Tecmo Koei.

Most Warriors games have a bare minimum of online co-op and often vs, its very rare that they don't. However with this being overseen by Nintendo there is a possibility online maybe sacrificed to make a better single player or local co-op experience. For example warriors games are always 2 player local co-op but Nintendo may want 3-5 local co-op and asynchronous multiplayer, this may cause online modes to be sacrificed, though i hope this is not the case and we get the best of both worlds.

@emblem I didn't even think that Hyrule Warriors would have online until I confused it with Namco in my above post.. but now I want it. Hopefully Nintendo realizes this. You'd think if it's something that Tecmo normally does, they would try to put it in.

Last time I played Sonic & All Stars Racing Transformed online, there were only like 10 people coming and going out of the lobby... Probably there were other lobbies or something, but the online community for it has been pretty much "Dead" since I bought it (May 2013). Only once I got to play against 9 other players, and 2 left right away. Still playing it with 2-3 players is FUN. I'd recommend it.

Pikmin 3 would have been nice to have online co-op, but I understand why it was left out. Can you imagine how it would look with reduce frame rate from desyning of multiplayer due to a bad connection? ugh..Bet that's the same reason Hyrule Warriors didn't get online multiplayer.

Ghost/BO2 were okay, if only the got the same effort the other consoles versions got.

DnD:CoM is nice game, just the damn delay caused players to by the PC version and such.

MH3U has nice multiplayer experience. Haven't played in awhile. Need to see how that is going.

Hope the new SSB game has great Multiplayer like MK8 and MH3U.

If MK8 has online multiplayer, Pikmin 3 co-op or Battle could. Bad connections in a MK8 race result in inaccurate gaming experiences, not in frame drops.

ninja gaiden 3 has a decent and very committed community of players.

Ok I want to ask , at present how many players are usually online in COD : Ghosta cuz I am getting myself one for Online multiplayer.
