Paid $246 for the Mario/Luigi set used with free shipping and a used copy of Zelda WW for $38 or so including shipping.

I was trying to decide whether to get a Wii U or a PS4. I decided on Wii U due to loving all of the Nintendo chacters. All PS4 has right now is shooters and sports games. Those get old fast. You just can't beat Mario, Luigi, Zelda, Kirby, Bayonetta now, heck even Toad is getting a game!, Donkey Kong & Co., Samus and the Metroid games, and more!

I hope I enjoy building my collection as I start with three games: Mario Bros. Wii U, Luigi Wii U, and Zelda: Wind Waker.

I heard they are making a Metroid game for Wii U. Any truth to that?

Although it's not officially confirmed, Nintendo have said they were interested in making both an old-style 2D, and a new 3D Metroid game in the near future. I think it's inevitable that we'll get a Metroid game for the Wii U, but you'll probably have to wait until 2016, or beyond.

Congratulations and I hope you enjoy it.

I will comment in this thread, never being able to find it again.

Thanks for the Metroid updates!

And thanks Sinalefa. Can't wait for it to be delivered.

Heh I just got the same bundle and some of these games to start me off.

*New Super Mario Bros U & New Super Luigi U(Came with the System)
*The Legend of Zelda: Wind Waker HD

  • Ninja Gaiden 3: Razor's Edge
  • Call of Duty Black Ops II
  • Call of Duty Ghosts
    Assassin's Creed III
  • Wii Party U

I got one of those bundle deals off of Walmart, so I picked Call of Duty Ghosts and Wii Party U as my games to include with my bundle. Black Ops II, Ninja Gaiden 3, and Assassin's Creed III I was lucky enough to get on sale, so I am starting off with a good selection of games.

I am very impressed with the Wii U so far. I honestly don't understand why people bash it. I like the user interface, the Pro Controller is one of the best controllers I have ever used, and I like the Wii mode since it lets me play Wii VC games and my old disc Wii games when ever I want. Since my old Wii's disc drive died, I can finally play Xenoblade!

All in all, I'm very happy with the system!

And I'm glad to hear that they are working on new Metroid games. With Star Fox coming back as well, they only thing I want now is a brand new HD F-Zero with online play. I'm not a big Mario Kart fan, so I would love to see a new F-Zero come out.

As a new Wii U owner, I think you picked the right system:)

I love my PS3 just as much as my Wii, but I think the PS4 is a ripoff right now. Most of the new games that are coming out in the next year are getting Xbox 360 and PS3 versions, and I'm bothered by the massive amount of PS3 and Xbox 360 games that are getting tossed onto the PS4 and Xbox One with remastered versions.

400 bucks is tons of money to invest into a system that quite frankly, has very few exclusive games.

That's what sold me on the Wii U, its cheaper and it has several games that can't be found anywhere else. I'm loving mine so far!
