Hi everybody!

I just got my special edition box with both Bayonetta games in it. I'd rather hop onto the second but only if the story is standalone. Is it or is it not?

They are connected so I'd say play the first, may I ask why you want to skip the first 1?

I did play 3 or so hours of the first and it seemed fun, it's just that i love the shiny graphics of the 2nd lol... there, i admit it

Play Bayonetta 1 so you can come to grips with the frenetic gameplay enough to fully appreciate those shiny graphics.

Bayonetta is only going to look worse if you play it after finishing Bayonetta 2.

I played Bayonetta 1 on my 360

played about 2 hours of Bayonetta 2, saw how much better it is and decided i wanted to play Bayonetta 1 first.

do the same, you will be "dissapointed" if you play Bayonetta 2 before 1, Bayonetta 2 its much better (and thats considering Bayonetta 1 its one of my fav games of the last generation)
