To be fair the onslaught of bad news has been rather rampant over the last month or so, and I mean more then usual (just look at what happened today as an example).
Except it's been bad since last year. There is no justification for the desperation of Directs.

What does a ND really do to solve this nothing, people barely take time to absorb the information before demanding another one I really don't see the need for an ND every month every 3 would probably work better.
Y'know what, maybe you guys are right. ND's shouldn't really come monthly anyway. Maybe 3 or more. I don't really care for them THAT much anyway, anymore.
I agree that people need to chill, but good news can do a lot to ease a raging fanbase. It won't legitimately solve any real problems, but it'll shut people up for at least a few days.
...and I also have no idea what anyone's complaining about here; it's hilarious and really seems to be making fun of the 'Nintendoomed' crowd. It puts Nintendo in a good(ish) light, too — they could be a lot worse.
