Topic: Assassin's Creed Syndicate not coming to Wii U

I purchased both AC 3 and black flag Wii u (both on steep discount) and god help me I could not stomach more than 30 minutes before putting them down for good. I just cannot see the appeal of this series. That said sucks for anyone who expected this. But personally I can't be bothered.

Why am I not surprised?

And nobody was surprised. It would be more surprising if Ubisoft actually changed the Assassin's Creed formula for once.

Ubisoft DID say they weren't bringing any more mature titles to the Wii U last year. Why would they make an exception here?

While I am upset that Ubisoft's done with the Wii U (on a level that anyone will actually care about), they have pulled their fair share of nonsense with the system and its owners, so good riddance.

That being said, if they support the NX (PROPERLY), I'll welcome them back. Otherwise, screw it. I'll buy their games used on my 360 if I ever want a Ubisoft fix.

It's Ubisoft, so it's not really surprising. Also, it's Ubisoft - the game will most likely suck, if AC Unity and its treatment are of any indication.

i don't even care anymore first time hearing was surprising, then it like you don't really care anymore, and i have a PC/360 (soon ort later i'll have a next gen console) so if anything i could get the games skip the wii u on the consoles that it is coming too.

For the record, even compared to normal, basically everyone's reaction to this game so far is just a sigh. No one is excited for this. And after Unity, they probably shouldn't be.

Also, I shouldn't have to say this AGAIN, but can we at least have an X game not coming to Wii U thread that is about a game any Wii U owner would care about?

Beating a dead horse here. I don't think we need a new thread about every 3rd party game not coming to Wii U. That's why it's nice to own a Playstation, Xbox and/or PC to supplement my Nintendo platforms.

Anyway, as for the game itself, not too interested in it, but I guess the Assassin's Creed franchise still has life left in it.

I got 3 and 4 but I didn't get Unity and I have little interest in this newest entry. Partially because of the poor reviews for Unity, mostly because I had simply tired of the series. At this point I kinda feel like Ubisoft should only be releasing this game every other year AT LEAST. They just rush them out the door too quickly which has burnt everyone on the franchise.

It's kinda like with Pokemon. I find myself buying every new entry for a few years and then it gets to a point where I lose interest. Then I jump in again only when they do something drastically new. Like online with Diamond/Pearl or the jump to 3D with X/Y. I liked Y but I didn't get last years' Pokemon and I doubt I'll get the next one because I'm kinda tired of the series. But when they go to the next platform? I'll probably be suckered in again. The difference being that with Pokemon it's not a product that has been rushed out the door.

I don't care about 90% of the 3rd party games not coming to the Wii U because they suck anyway. There has been very few 8th gen games that have lived up to their hype and I expect that the next influx will be much the same. The only 3rd party games that interest me are Batman Arkham Knight and Kingdom Hearts 3; which makes the PS4/XBO pretty much pointless consoles for me (as they have no exclusives that interest me either except for Scalebound).

I've tried to like the Assassin's Creed series but every game that I've played I have just hated; so I doubt that it'll change any time soon.

What does interest me for 2015 is Splatoon, Devil's Third, Xenoblade Chronicles X, Mario Maker, Star Fox and Fatal Frame; all of which will be Wii U exclusive.
