How about... Killer 7 Ikaruga 1080 Avalanche Gotcha Force P.N.03 ... as my top 5 for now @Waveboy WarioWorld is weak. Really short game and all of the enemies are basically the same but with different textures, at least the bosses are cool but really easy. I really feel like I threw my money away, and it was only $10.
Now playing: (Wii - DJ Hero 2) (WiiWare / VC - -- / --) (Game Cube - Second Sight) (DS / GBA - Eragon / --) (Xbox360 - Burnout Paradise) (XBLA / XBIG - Puzzle Quest / --) Wii FC - 2346 1195 9083 7926 XBOX360 Gamertag - BrazCanMan
And about Wario World, I played it a loooooong time ago, but I lost it, but I remember that it was a pretty fun game, with some levels that were great, some meh, but some overall good challenges. Camera sucked though....
FF6: Release year- 1994 Kefka's birthday - November 9th So.... my life is practically mirroring Kefka? Cool.
1. Metroid Prime 2. Metroid Prime 2: Echoes 3. Chibi-Robo! 4. Super Mario Sunshine 5. The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker
"Don't make enemies, they'll stab your heart; don't make friends, they'll stab your back. Including me, including you, all men are trash. Don't love; don't be loved. Have nothing to do with other; live in isolation."
I definitly have my eye on Kirby's Air Ride. But it's gotten pretty mediocre reviews. Please convince me that the game is underrated and kicks all sorts of Wario World is another I really wan't to get.
Three game modes. A traditional "Air Ride" mode which a simplified explanation would be that it plays like Mario Kart. Air Ride mode has enemies to gain abilities from, such as Fire, Spark and Sword, which allow you to hit your opponents and also catch up (as hitting enemies on the track increases your speed). There are no "items" like in Mario Kart, only these abilities. This means there is also no blue shell, making for much fairer races than Mario Kart allows. The only ability similar to the Blue Shell is the Mike ability, and that's nowhere near as bad.
Next, "Top Ride" which is a mini-race with an overhead view. In this game, there are no abilities, but there are items. The races are usually short and sweet in this mode, and usually much easier than Air Ride, too. At least easier for beginners. This one's pretty fun I have to say.
Lastly, "City Trial" which is the biggest and best game mode. You spend 5 or so minutes exploring a city area, where powerup boxes are scattered throughout. Different Air Ride Machines and upgrades to your stats (speed, acceleration, defence etc.) are hidden everywhere and you have five minutes to collect as much as you can find. After five minutes are up, you and the CPU opponents (or real people, whatever) face off in a race or an event with your buffed up machines. Whoever wins this event wins the match.
City Trial is filled to the brim with secrets and things, including random events happening ("Oh No! It's Dyna Blade! Watch out!" or "A secret powerup vault has been unlocked, get there before anyone else!", etc.). Sometimes you'll find a part of a Legendary Air Ride Machine. (either the Dragoon or the Hydra) With one of these, you're pretty much guaranteed to win the upcoming showdown, but good luck finding all three pieces within the time.
All three game modes are filled with unlockables, kept track of with a handy check-list (not unlike Brawl's "Challenges" wall).. Actually, the entire game seems to have a distinct scent of a "Smash Bros." quality. It seems to me it's kind of like "what if Melee were a racing game..."
I say, to anyone with a GameCube or Wii with any passing interest in Smash Bros and Mario Kart... get Kirby Air Ride. This one of those games that needs a serious New Play Control re-release... the Wii Wheel would be great.
1). The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker (also my favorite Zelda Game) 2). Metroid Prime (also my favorite Metroid game and First person perspective game) 3). Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door (also my favorite Mario RPG and JRPG) 4). Resident Evil 4 (also my favorite Resident Evil game and my favorite game by Capcom) 5). Super Mario Sunshine
Eternal Darkness: Sanity's Requiem, Super Smash Bros. Melee, and Mario Kart: Double Dash were just shy of making this list for me.
