Yeah, probably the Wii. As much as I hate motion controls and love to badmouth that console, it had a lot of decent games hidden under piles and piles of shovelware.

PlayStation is easily my preferred brand and from the time PS3 and Wii launched in 06 through 2008, I was gaming on the Wii much more than PS3, which didn't turn a corner until 2009. And even from 09-2010 I was gaming on both equally then 2011 rolled around and Nintendo just stopped giving a damn about console but for the first four years it was awesome. And I don't care for motion controls much myself, but most of the great Wii games didn't require you to use them in crazy ways. The Super Mario Galaxy games for example used them in a cool way that wasn't intrusive of the experience at all.

I dunno.... I didn't really like the Wii. The only thing AMAZING to me from the Wii era, was Brawl, Mario Galaxy, and Metroid Prime Trilogy. But that's just me... I still got a LOT of play time out of that little thing, but most of that play time was Mario Galaxy and Brawl. I didn't discover how much I liked Metroid Prime until about 3 years ago.

Either the GC or the Wii, but in recent days the GC has been getting more love. Meanwhile the Wii still gets a lot of crap for the shovelware while ignoring tons of good Nintendo/3rd party games or selling them short, and continue to blame the console for "killing their interest in Nintendo"

So I guess the Wii

Well, probably the GBA to be honest. Didn't have much in the way of Mario games, but Wario Land 4 and the early WarioWare games were great, The Minish Cap was fantastic, Mario & Luigi Superstar Saga was one of their best RPGs and Pokemon Ruby/Sapphire/Emerald were really good Pokemon games in general.

Yet it always get overlooked compared to the Game Boy or DS.

Same. I'm actually fairly surprised how many good to great games aren't very well remembered. Then again, they didn't have the benefit of the internet the way the DS eventually did, so a lot of good games were ignored even in their time...

Wii U for me. It had Tokyo Mirage Sessions #FE, my favorite JRPG in a longtime (and the only Atlus RPG I've actually beaten), and the definitive versions of Super Mario Maker, Lego City Undercover, and Rayman Legends, among other good games on there. Sure, it had Mario Tennis: Ultra Smash and amiibo Festival, both which were garbage, but...the good outweighs the bad for me.

Gamecube for sure, though before the Switch launched that would've gone to the Wii U instead. Can't really say the Wii U has an underrated library when lots of people are buying Wii U ports on Switch.

Depends what you mean by underrated. What is the rating part of that?

If it's the sales, then the answer is clearly the Wii U. That console has enough awesome games that it was still on par with the PS4 in terms of content for quite a while. The PS4 has definitely exceeded it now, but it took a while. I'd say about 3 years into the PS4, they were still about equal.

It's dangerous to go alone! Stay at home.

Gotta be Wii U. In my view, it plenty of games for a Nintendo fan and plenty of quality indie games too. I was always kinda annoyed when amazing Wii U games had that "stigma" just because they were on Wii U.

I have always felt the Gamecube and N64 highly underrated. Most posts and stories I see always claim the PS1 and PS2 as superior in all ways to Nintendo in that era including in game libraries, but there were some outstanding games and good variety on both systems.

I'd say the Wii. If you say "the Wii has some really good games on it", people laugh at you. It's true. I'm not a massive fan of that console, and the motion controls get annoying after a while, but I can name dozens of high quality titles for that system.

Most underrated for me :
1. N64.
I had never knew their existence during my Teenhood, so i never play any N64 games. But from my knowledge as i grew up and realized their existence, if i have to compare PS1 & N64, i will choose PS1 for more interesting games.
Also, N64 controller doesn't look interesting if compared with PS1 controller.
Remember, this is my honest confession.

2. Gamecube
I knew their existence after year 2002, during my College age with PS2. But once again, if i compared PS2 & Gamecube , i will definetely choose PS2 for Dance Dance Revolution, Guitar Freaks & DrumMania, K-1, Para Para Paradise, etc. Gamecube games library was really disappointing if compared with PS2.
I just consider ONLY 6 Gamecube games for my collection to be played on my Wii.

3. Wii U
Very depressing Nintendo machine. Same worst as PS3 & PS4. I don't really like Gamepad concept that still tied with console. If i compared PS4 & Wii U, BOTH of Them are Disappointing but i will choose Wii U than PS4 for Wii U Backward compatible with Wii.

No offence dude, but I don't think you understand the meaning of "underrated".

I'd say the GameCube, as I've sometimes seen it being lumped in with the Wii and Wii U in terms of Nintendo consoles getting poor third-party support, and I'd completely disagree. Compared to the Wii and Wii U, the GameCube had amazing third-party support. Sure, it didn't get everything, and missed out on some big games, but when I think generally about the big multi-platform games of that generation, the GameCube seemed to get most of them. The likes of: Resident Evil, Burnout, Soulcalibur, Call of Duty, Tony Hawk, Super Monkey Ball, Need For Speed, Tales of Symphonia, Sonic, Timesplitters, Viewtiful Joe, SSX, Prince of Persia, Hitman, Skies of Arcadia, True Crime, Star Wars, Lord of the Rings, Splinter Cell, FIFA, Madden, NBA, WWE, etc. During the Wii and Wii U eras I would've killed for the kind of third-party support the GameCube received.

With the Switch there are inklings (no pun intended) of those good times again. Hell (no pun intended), Doom is on the Switch. That's not even a last-gen AAA game. That's a current-gen AAA game, and it's on the Switch! After two generations of Wii and Wii U famine, that still blows my mind.
