Normally I'd try this out but It'll probably run like crap on my laptop anyway.
CoD4 ran great on my laptop, so I'm checking this out. Though Steam decided to freeze on me last night and I haven't gotten anything downloaded.
Well I tried the CoD4 demo from another site and it did run, but I had to turn quite a few settings down to get the gameplay to smooth out. I figured that downloading BO for a limited time wouldn't really be worth it
Also, I got a message from Gearbox that I can now download my Duke Nukem Forever demo. Haven't really tried it yet, played it only about 20 minutes. But I'll have to say........."It's time to kick ass and chew bubblegum....and I'm all outta gum."
I seem to have trouble with Steam. Again. Thankfully this isn't my account being disabled. Whenever I try to start up Steam, I get this error message:
"ERROR: unable to open binicudt42.dll for writing"
I have absolutely no idea what it means and it appears that no one else has encountered the message at all. Anyone know what's going on here?

@irken004 I have some good news and bad news on that front:
The Bad News: I accidentally deleted EVERYTHING from Steam. That includes games, DLC, mods, etc. I'm an idiot.
The Good News: That error doesn't appear anymore and all of the really important stuff (mostly saves) is intact thanks to the fact that Steam doesn't save that data in any of the Steam program files. And I have unlimited internet, which really helps me out.

Well I guess that worked out fine then. You can try making backups of some of the larger games onto DVD-R discs so that you wouldn't have to re-download them from the internet. I'd do that for all my Steam games but I'd have way too many discs lying around xD
@irken004 That's a good idea. I can burn dual-layer DVD-Rs and I do believe that I have some extra DVD-Rs lying around somewhere.
