If you've got a PlayStation Vita, you've got a free game Tuesday, March 6th. MotorStorm RC is already out in the UK, but tomorrow it arrives on the North American PlayStation Network. According to the PlayStation Blog, a deal with Scion will allow players to download the Vita version for free tomorrow. Sadly, this deal doesn't apply to the PlayStation 3 version, which will set you back $9.99 (or $7.49 if you're a PlayStation Plus member).
By the way IGN gave the game a 8.5 score. I'm pretty sure the rest of the world had to pay for the game and you will to if you don't download it tomorrow.
So did they actually improve on a really mediocre PS3 game or are the reviewers being "DERP DOO, SEQUEL EQUALS AN 8+".
Still both infinitely better than Excitebike and worse than those 20 games I got later but just out of curiosity since it's one of the few PS3 titles I played for a decent amount of time.
Yeah, it's tough to beat receiving ten 20-25 year old games and ten 10-15 year old games. I have them all collecting dust on my 3DS... Which is also collecting dust. If Sony is desperate enough to screw early adopters with a mega price slash only month into the release of the Vita I'm sure they'll seek to "compensate" us early Vita cutomers as well... Maybe with ancient games which involved no cost to the company at all beyond the potential lost opportunity that one day some early adopters might buy a few of these games they spent no money to remaster or enhance in any way.

aw, you're cute when you're being overly defensive of a video game system.

At least Nintendo don't make you buy $100 memory sticks.

It's a topdown racer with completely different gameplay. Take that for what you will.

That's great. I think you're attractive as well when you're making weak points with no apparent reason. lol

Nether does Sony. Entry level cards can be had for $20. The 32GB can be had for $85 if you know what you're doing.
You're right though, SD format is cheaper and there was no legit excuse for it. Just like there was no legit excuse for Nintendo to accept a huge design flaw where I'll be required to buy a bulky, awkward add-on hardware piece that blocks the cart slot so I can play games like MGS sensibly. Monster Hunter and MGS were in development long before the 3DS release and yet they still didn't change the thing to offer a second stick? Nobody is perfect.
Getting back on topic, it was great for Sony to offer this to NA customers. I'm not sure why they did it but it's an awesome freebee.

They made a deal with Scion, which doesn't surprise me since the game's about racing, so Sony's probably still getting something out of it. Plus, it obviously builds customer loyalty and will keep the buyers many of the new system playing, and probably telling their friends about it and the game that won't be free anymore starting tomorrow.
Still, there is no need for someone to feel threatened by something that doesn't have Nintendo written on it. I like Nintendo a lot but my God, there are other girls on the block and some may argue it's a mistake to get married at all but it's certainly a mistake to marry your first girlfriend and opt not to play the field a little.
