I just played this for the first time through Steam. Fantastic game! If only leaderboards could be shared across Steam, XBLA and WiiWare.

Meat Boy isn't muscular and toned. He's a frikkin' square.

And what's with his alien girlfriend? She looks like she's about to probe his skull with some type of alien mind drill.

@Corbie I don't see the drill. Bandage Girl is posing in that typical "action heroine damsel-in-distress" way. Contrast the Tron and Tron Legacy posters showing both lead characters.

I played the Flash version. Its really fun but its kinda sluggish. :/

The flash version wasn't all that great to be honest.

Just FYI Super Meat Boy is a very different game from Meat Boy (the Flash game). The controls are tighter and more responsive, there are more characters (lots of unlockable characters like CommanderVideo), the levels are generally better designed and much more varied, there are integrated leaderboards and there's an interesting implied running story.

When you complete a stage, you also get to see all the Meat Boys you used attempting to complete the stage in a kind of mass replay. It's quite funny watching loads of them die on the way to Bandage Girl and then one reaching her.

Meat Boy didn't hold my attention much but I love Super Meat Boy.

For all the ones that might click here and don't click the Steam thread. SMB is $3.75 on Steam right now and there isn't a better way to spend the money. This game frikkin rocks.

Is the level editor released yet, Slappy?

Nothing fancy but if you aren't much of a PC gamer (like me) the cheapness and small size is perfect for just this game.
