I don't have a PSP and I'm waiting till after E3 to see what Sony does in regards to announcing a PSP2 that's backwards compatible or not. That said, Peace Walker is number one on a list of many games that make me want a PSP.
Yep, the MGS series is amazing and I REALLY liked Portable Ops. Buying Peace Walker is a no brainer.

I don't know if I'll buy the game. I mean, it looks really great, but the only thing that killed it for me was the controls. Maybe I can get used to them, because it looks awesome. MGS + Dragons FTW!
I hear its amazing when the famous purple stuffed worm in flap-jaw space with the tuning fork does a raw blink on hari-kiri rock!!! I NEED SCISSORS!!! 61!!!
IGN also noted that they and many other critics felt it's unrealistically difficult for a single-player game and almost requires you to have help to get through it. All of my interest in the game has been drained away.
If you know someone else who owns the system and the game, I'm sure it would be. I bet it'd be fun to have my own personal unicorn, too, but Santa has been tacitly ignoring my wish list every year for the past decade.
I'm just going by what has been said by those who make their living off of being able to finish games and report about them. I'm sure the demo would be easy, as it is a demo. I think they were specifically referring to late game bosses, but I wasn't sure. Anyhow, if you or anyone plays it and beats the single-player mode without tremendous pains, I'd be very glad to know that. I had been thinking of getting a PSP for this game, so that would be a lot of help deciding.
Adam, it is indeed true. I had tons of trouble with the second boss fight. Though I did eventually beat it after around 5 desperate tries, it would've been easier with more than one player. Giant Bomb also reports (in their Peace Walker quick look) that the difficulty doesn't change when you enter co-op, which is kinda dumb. Plus there isn't a difficulty to choose from when you start the game. I can see some of the later bosses being literally impossible without other players to help you. But you can play online co-op with other people, so maybe hosting a game and letting other people join could help. I might have to try that when the game gets ultra tough.
EDIT: Sorry about making that other topic, I didn't know about this one.
