Least favorite Video Game Music? for me, these are curtosy of Artoon [http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=85AB1p6wpaY] [http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aqMAhVltrKo]
I still think that 1942 music is better than
(I'm not going to count bad homebrew games)
Ghost Lion battle music
Deep Dungeon 3 battle music pretty bad too. A big downer from the first two (c'mon, the loss of the FDS FM soundchip can't have been THAT much of a hindrance)
Edit: Oh wait, I was thinking this was the Worst Videogame Music thread, not the least favorite videogame music thread. This song's a bad, but it's laughably bad, so it's not my least favorite. My least favorite would be something ear splitting. Like Alf for Master System. I watched a gameplay video and I'm pretty sure my ears were bleeding afterwards.
I've never heard that song before, but I actually liked it a lot. I mean, yeah, it's chaotic, which is kind of a bad sign for a title song, but under the right conditions I could see that being a very fitting song.

Ghost Lion's is actually tolerable. It just sounds like "My first Chiptune". It does get annoying after hours of play, though.
Same with Deep Dungeon 3. The song feels like its building up to something that never comes, which is irritating, but I think 1942 NES has it beat out by quite a bit, which I found physically painful from the word go and only got worse as it went...
Opening aside, I kinda prefered that version. But maybe because it just sounded so alien, like I'm in a foriegn land. It sort of maybe me uncomfortable, reminding me that I am in a place among legends (dragons).
I love Jet Set Radio, but I'll admit that its music often isn't iPod-friendly...it works as backround music when you're not focused on it (I'm typing with that songs in the backround, and when I'm not paying attention to it, it's okay, but the moment my focus drifts...)
I don't even want to listen to that Terminator one. I almost got the nightmares to stop, man...
Also, this isn't the unpopular opinions thread, but I always thought FF6's soundtrack wasn't all the great. I ended up getting the whole soundtrack, but I honestly can't think of any memorable tracks like I can with a lot of other Final Fantasy games...

Truth be told, I was gonna say Sonic Chronicles, then some else did it, so I was trying to think of worse music. But then block hit me....
Until this hit me-
Sounds good at first, but then the games throws the song at you over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over again.
