Really, this is kinda why I don't listen to OSTs unless it's something that I know by heart, or the music is for some reason incredibly exceptional to the point that it transcends its original intent - A lot of OSTs are meant to be listened in context, either they set the mood, or they amplify the mood set by the visuals. IMO, they simply don't work nearly as well on their own. I swear i never heard this RE track ONCE in the actual game. Thank goodness! Otherwise, the rest of the score is hauntingly brilliant!
