Just weeks away now for the release of New Vegas.
Just few questions just to keep this thread alive.

What was the most annoying thing in Fallout 3 to you guys?
And what DLC did you guy's like and dislike the most?

The wait for release, yes...but I won't be able to play it until December.

never played any of the DLC.
Most annoying thing was probably when companions that you had told to wait somewhere safe, like in Megaton, would just randomly die when you were on the other side of the map in the middle of a mission. I'd be knee deep in a mission and suddenly its like, "Dogmeat had died"

How come you can't play till December??
Man...i'm stoked for the game and if I were to wait another month or two, I'd do something......bad.

The DLC is a bug ridden fest but is pretty good. It's worth it and I recommend Broken Steel and Point Lookout first.
That happened to me when Fawkes was following me and he got stuck in between a rock and I had to leave him and then he just died. Very very annoying.

It'll eat up a good deal of my free time in November...practically all of it, really. By the time the dust settles I'm sure I'll be ready to dive into New Vegas. But if I start playing during (or before...) November I won't be able to pull myself away long enough to hit my daily word goals.

So...yeah. I have to show some restraint. Whether I like it or not.

New Fallout New vegas video here folks.
Showing off the town of Primm while a bethesda dude talks you through the game.
Graphics look sharper and textures seem more higher quality.
Loading screen looks nice and of course the art style is excellent.

Anyone else enter the New Vegas sweepstakes? There was one on Facebook and one on another site; I'll doubt I'll win either one, but I entered them both...

What's the Amazon credit for just the game? I'm tempted to buy this from Amazon since I know it has some credit (either $10 or $20 credit off a future video game purchase) and $.99 release date delivery. I don't think there's a credit for the collector's edition but I'm not worried. It looks like one I won't particularly care for seeing as I'm not into gambling.

New Vegas is out in 8 Days in Europe.
And is out in 5 days in NA.

Just finished up Mothership Zeta on Fallout 3 and it was good. A little bland, but overall a pretty decent mission pack.
Now I got Operation Anchorage and it was good until the final mission where the game loaded up and took 5 minutes. No joke. And when it finally loaded up, the game ran at 1 FPS(Frames Per Second-How fast a game runs, the more the merrier.)
I'm not going back to it though as New Vegas is around the corner and I want the gameplay to feel as fresh as possible.

MotherShip Zeta and Operation Anchorage are the two worst DLC packs for Fallout 3. I hope you already bought or have the other 3 before playing those 2.
