Topic: Dreamcast Games ARE Coming to PS3/360!

Sony finally rated a Dreamcast game confirming the rumors between Sony and SEGA partnership to release Dreamcast games via PSN. First to be rated was Sonic Adventure. Panzer Dragoon on PS3 is now a possibility

Nooooo! I don't have a PS3. I guess I'll just have to keep hunting down games for my Dreamcast.

I have a PSP, so will they be able to be downloaded to both consoles. They did the same for PS1 games. I want REZ on my PSP!

Not quite - there was never a Panzer Dragoon game on the Dreamcast.

I was just thinking about buying a Dreamcast, but give me Shenmue 1 and 2, DOA 2, The Typing of the Dead, Soulcalibur, Rez and Jet Set Radio on PSN and it'll save me some money. So yaaaay~

Sonic Adventure's already coming to the service. Now all I need is for Chu Chu Rocket!, Crazy Taxi, the Shenmue games, The Power Stones, Jet Set Radio, and Skies of Arcadia to follow suit...

Thought I'd add that it was not just rated for the PS3 but for the XBOX360 as well, and XBLA already has Rez HD and Virtual ON: Oratorio Tangram.

Well it was already confirmed it will be on the 360 as well a while back, I wonder how much it will cost though.

I fixed it as the site I saw stated it was on PS3 and didnt mention the 360 so I added it to the title as well.

@madgear.... hoping that Saturn games will follow right behind, here hoping, if it doesnt happen though Ill still be happy with Dreamcast lol.

Im really excited about this one. I was younger when the Saturn/Dreamcast days were in and I couldnt afford multiple systems and I had a Genesis, N64 and PSone. Ive added in a lot more, but have never grabbed a Saturn or Dreamcast. This news made my day (as well as its my 2yr anniversary with my wife lol)

We definitely need some Crazy Taxi on XBLA/PSN.

The first two were flops so I think the series will probably stay dead.

Don't forget that Sonic Adventure was also labeled for PC as well as the DX version of the game.

@Crystalking18: I doubt these will work on the PSP. Seems to me the Dreamcast is a bit too powerful to be emulated on the PSP. The oft-rumored PSP2 may be another matter, however...

@Splat: Crazy Taxi is one of the other games that are already strongly rumored to be coming, via Xbox Live leaks. Also, Jet Set Radio, I believe.

@V8 Ninja: Yeah, I'd just like to know why [url=http://www.siliconera.com/2010/06/07/sonic-adventure-light-dashing-to-playstation-3/]both regular and DX are listed for PC, PS3, and 360[url] (sorry if that link has no information not on the previous Joystiq link, but that site hard-locks my PS3 browser 100% of the time so I can't check). From the previous leaks I've heard, the DX content was believed to be add-on DLC. You don't usually have to rate that as a whole separate game. Weird.

Don't know if I'd buy these games which I'm guessing will be in the $10 / 800MSP price range. I have a lot of DC games, around 60 original and 30+ pirated (mostly imports or extremely rare games I couldn't find in stores), back in Canada. I think I'll just wait until someone I know goes north and can pick up my Dreamcast, peripherals and games... don't know if the system will arrive in one piece though...
